A Walker's Wrld is happy t assist with pre-tur arrangements such as accmmdatin and transfers frm Livingstne, Zambia r Kasane, Btswana, if required. On arrival in Kasane yur guide will give yu a full safari briefing Yur safari drinks must be purchased the day befre the safari (3L f water per persn per day is recmmended). The first highlight f yur safari will be a sunset bat cruise n the Chbe River. Camping will be in Kasane at a campsite with permanent ablutins. Meals Included: Lunch & Dinner Day 2-3: Nxai Pan Natinal Park, Camping Rising with the sun, yur rute takes yu 500 kilmetres suth t Nxai Pan Natinal Park where sweet grasses hst a variety f wildlife. Yu will stp en rute fr a picnic lunch and enjy an afternn game drive in the park befre getting t yur campsite. The next day yu will explre Nxai Pan and enjy the plains which are ften dtted with grazing herds f impala and springbk. In the afternn yu will visit the magnificent Baines Bababs. These regal trees, immrtalised by the explrer Baines painting, are situated n the edge f an expansive saltpan. Camping will be at a private designated campsite with bush ablutins. Day 2 - Kasane Nxai Pan: 500km, 6 hurs Day 4: Maun, Camping After enjying a mrning game drive, yu will leave Nxai Pan and cntinue yur safari t Maun - the gateway t the Okavang Delta. In Maun yu will have time t visit the shps and enjy a relaxing afternn. Yu will camp vernight at a site with permanent ablutin facilities. OPTION: Yu have the pprtunity t take a scenic flight frm Maun ver the Delta t see the islands and twisting water channels frm the air (COST: 120 based n minimum 3 passengers participating). Day 4 - Nxai Maun: 180km, 3-4 hurs
Day 5-6: Okavang Delta, Camping Yur adventure will take yu in a nrth westerly directin frm Maun t the suthern part f the Okavang Delta, a special crner f paradise. Once yu have reached the edge f the Delta, yu will transfer yur equipment t mtrbats and cruise alng the narrw papyrus-lined channels enjying the exquisite birdlife f the regin as well as the stunning landscape. Deeper in the Delta yu will meet the lcal plers with their mkr (a traditinal dugut cane) and enjy a tranquil transfer t an island. Yu will spend tw days explring this beautiful area n mkr excursins and taking guided walks n the islands and fldplains f the Okavang. Yu will camp wild with bush ablutins. Day 5 - Maun Okavang Delta: 300km, 4 hurs Day 7: Maun, Camping Inspired by the beauty f the Okavang, yu will retrace yur rute t Maun. Yu will have the ptin f taking a scenic flight ver the Delta t return t Maun (1hr scenic flight is EUR 100 per persn, min. 3 guests t guarantee the flight). This magical experience prvides anther perspective f the Okavang Delta s unique water system and if yu chse t take the flight, yu will enjy a leisurely afternn in the Delta campsite writing pstcards r reading a bk while yu wait fr yur afternn flight. Yur guide will travel back t Maun with the vehicle t resupply fr the next stage f yur adventure. After cllecting yu at the airprt, yu will shp fr drinks and then spend the night at a campsite just utside Maun with permanent ablutin facilities. Day 7 - Okavang Delta Maun: 320km, 4 hurs Days 8-10: Mremi Game Reserve, Camping Frm Maun yu will drive thrugh t Mremi Game Reserve, ne f the best wilderness areas f Btswana which cvers swamp and dry areas. The next three days will be spent searching fr the wide variety f wildlife and birds that this area is renwned fr while absrbing the sunds and beauty f this regin. Game drives in the early mrning as the sun rises and in the late afternn
as the sun sets will be the nrm. After yur mrning game drive yu will return t camp fr lunch and a siesta. Camping will be in private designated campsites with bush ablutins. Day 8: Maun Mremi Game Reserve: 150km, 6 hurs (including game drive) Days 11-13: Chbe Natinal Park, Camping Chbe Natinal Park, with its diverse and striking landscapes, will be yur next destinatin. As yu cntinue yur search fr wildlife, yu will traverse the drier regin f Savuti where bull elephants dt the plains. Yu will then head nrthwards t the Chbe River where yur game drives will meander alng the banks f the river, fllwed by the call f the majestic African Fish Eagle. Camping will be in private designated areas with bush ablutins. Day 11: Mremi Savuti: 120km. 5-6 hurs Day 12: Savuti - Chbe River: 170km, 5 hurs
Days 14 15: A night in a cmfrtable ldge in Victria Falls, Chalet Accmmdatin After a mrning game drive, yu will crss the Zambezi River by ferry and then drive t Victria Falls in Zimbabwe (visa required), where yu will spend the night at a cmfrtable ldge. In the afternn there will be time t visit the thunderus Victria Falls and shp fr curis. Dinner will be at yur wn expense at the ldge. The safari fficially ends at 10 am n Day 15 after breakfast (included). VEHICLES All ur safari vehicles are specially designed t maximize viewing and phtgraphic pprtunities fr ur guests. Designed t seat 16 guests but we have a maximum f 12 guests t allw fr plenty f space n each rw fr day packs, camera equipment and space between guests. Each vehicle has 4 rws with a maximum f 3 guests per rw fr increased cmfrt and space. Our seats are bench seats t allw fr great flexibility fr guests and are nt bucket seats which can be restricting. 2 meters in width which is wider than standard vehicles and is als designed fr peple 195cm in height, s again plenty f rm fr legs and knees, camping equipment etc. Flding windscreen s guests can enjy unbstructed views/phtgraphs n game drives Remvable canvas rf, which enables guests t stand up n seats and enjy the sights and smells f the African bush frm a higher perspective. Remvable perspex windws t prtect against the cld and rain. Fridge fr cld beverages fr that perfect sundwner ;-) Each vehicle has cil springs with duble shcks this reduces the buncing felt by guests n very bumpy bush rads.
