The court architect, Paulo Gazzola, in charge of the work, added several extensions recreating designs from the Palladio. The vegetation cover consists largely of forests with a blend of Turkish oaks and oaks to woods of oaks and chestnut trees. In the park, there are also other interesting aspects of the forest, among which stands out the historic Faggeta of Maria Amalia, the plant dating back to 1820. The flora of the park is also enriched by many species of wild flowers (anemone, campanellino, various species of orchid...) and mushrooms, the conspicuous presence of which is an indication of the overall good health of the forest.
