Print Radio Tasmania is a broadcast Service for people with a print disability. Current ABS estimates indicate that there are in excess of 5 million Australians who have difficulty accessing printed information. This includes: Blind or vision impaired people who cannot see print; Older people who may find it difficult to read smaller print; People with arthritis or other physical problems who may have trouble holding a book or newspaper, People who are functionally illiterate and cannot understand the formation or combination of the printed word, and, People who understand English as a second language but cannot easily read it. Print Radio Tasmania provides access to a wide variety of publications such as newspapers, magazines, books and other material covering a wide range of topics. Currently we broadcast over 100 different programs weekly.
