Dinner and overnight on board. 23/04 Puerto Iguazú: 2 Breakfast. Visit to Wanda Mines, an important outdoor mining complex where we can buy semiprecious stones at very economic prices. Lunch. Arrival to Puerto Iguazu during the afternoon. Hotel and free afternoon. Dinner. 24/04 Puerto Iguazú: 3 Full day excursion at the Argentinian side of Iguazu Falls with lunch included. Here we will admire the waterfalls along the walkways and paths, few meters distance from the great falls (Optional: Gran Aventura). Approximately at 17:00 hs we will visit the Puerto Iguazú city until reaching the three borders milestone (place where the Iguazú river is divided and you can appreciate the coasts of three countries at the same time: Argentina, Brazil and Paraguay). We will have extra time to purchase in the artisa. Dinner. 25/04 Puerto Iguazú: 4 Departure from the hotel in the morning hours towards Foz Do Iguazu (Brasil) carrying out the migratory procedures. Then visit the Bird Park (Parque Das Aves). This place exhibits and preserves beautiful and colorful birds in a framework of abundant vegetation, typical of the Brazilian Atlantic forest. Currently this park has
more than 900 birds of 150 species from Brazil and other continents. Many of them are classified under extinction risk. We will have lunch, and in the afternoon, we will take the excursion to Brazilian Waterfalls where we will have a panoramic view of them. The students who need a visa to enter to Brazil and have not processed it on the Brazilian consulate in advance, will be accompanied by one of the tour leaders to make the full day excursion to the Mocona Falls. Dinner. 26/04 Puerto Iguazú / Salta: 5 Departure from Puerto Iguazú during the morning towards to Salta, making a stop for lunch in San Ignacio. Dinner in Resistencia. Overnight on board. 27/04 Salta: 6 Arrival to Salta at noon, lunch and hotel. In the afternoon, City Tour through the historic center of Salta, visiting San Francisco Church, Cabildo, the Basilica Cathedral, Guemes Monument and the artisan walk. Ascent by cableway to Cerro San Bernardo to enjoy a spectacular view of the city and the Lerma Valley. Walk downhill and free time to explore the historic center. Dinner in the center and accommodation. 28/04 Salta / Quebrada de Humahuaca: 7 Departing during the morning to visit the Cities of Humahuaca and Tilcara, picturesque towns, where we can appreciate and enjoy the traditions of the native peoples. We will also visit the Huacalera. Later, we will visit Purmamarca town, where the famous Cerro de los Siete Colores is located. We will have free time to visit and learn about the handicraft markets. Return to the city of Salta. Accommodation and dinner. 29/04 Salta / Cafayate / Villa Unión: 8 Departure at morning from Salta, through the Quebrada del Río de las Conchas, where we will stop on different viewpoints (El Obelisco, La Yesera, El Sapo, the Amphitheater, etc.). Arrival to Cafayate and visit to a traditional winery. Lunch. At afternoon we will continue visiting the Pachamama Museum in the town of Amaicha del Valle. Then we will cross the Abrazo del Infiernillo to reach Tafi del Valle where we will have dinner. Descent through the Cuesta de los Sosa towards the Tucumán plains. Night on board.
30/04 Villa Unión: 9 Breakfast at Estacióm 2 (2nd Station) of the old Cableway of Chilecito, declared National Historic Monument. In its facilities there is a museum where the vestiges of this centenary mining transport are. We continue our way to Villa Unión, crossing the picturesque Cuesta de Miranda. Accommodation in Villa Union with lunch. Free afternoon. 01/05 Villa Unión / Talampaya / Valle de la Luna: 10 After breakfast at Villa Union we will head towards Talampaya National Park. During the tour you will travel through the dry river bed of Talampaya, known as the Talampaya Canyon. The excursion is done on special vehicles, equipped for this type of road. The tour last approximately 3 hours stopping at different places of interest such as Petroglyphs, La Chimenea, The Botanical Garden, Gothic Cathedral and El Monje. It will be possible to observe the forms that the erosion of the water and wind have drawn in the place. Lunch in the Talampaya National Park. Then we will go to the famous Valley of the Moon Provincial Park. The tour last about 3 hours, visiting the famous Cancha de Bochas and other geological formations. In the evening we will return to Villa Union, accommodation and dinner. 02/05 Villa Unión / Mendoza: 11 After breakfast we leave the hotel to go to Mendoza. On the way we will stop at Vallecito town in San Juan for lunch, and then visit the sanctuary of the legendary Difunta Correa, a pagan mythical figure of the popular religion. We continue our way to Mendoza arriving in the afternoon. Accommodation and dinner. 03/05 Mendoza / Alta Montaña / Córdoba: 12 Full day excursion to the Andes mountain, starting the trip through the area of Chacras de Coria, Potrerillos, Cordón del Plata and Uspallata viewpoints, to continue along the Mendoza River, passing through historic places such as Polvaredas, Picheuta and the center of ski Los Penitentes. Lunch in the border town of Las Cuevas, appreciating on the way the impressive Aconcagua Hill. Then descend until you reach Puente del Inca where we will stop to have a panoramic view of the ruins of the old thermal hotel. Return to Mendoza, dinner and accommodation.
04/05 Mendoza / Buenos Aires: 13 City Tour through the beautiful city of Mendoza, visiting its historic center and its shopping center. Lunch included and visit to the magnificent San Martin Park. If the climatic conditions are appropriate, we will ascend to Cerro de la Gloria, and visit a winery. Then we will leave to Buenos Aires stopping on the way for dinner. Night on board. 05/05 Buenos Aires: 14 Arrival in Buenos Aires in the morning hours and accommodation. In the afternoon City Sightseeing Tour through the Casa Rosada, the Cathedral, the Congress and the Colon theater, then we will continue to La Boca to see the picturesque Caminito and the Boca Juniors stadium, back to the Center we will cross Puerto Madero to end the tour knowing the forests of Palermo. Return to the hotel in the afternoon, optional evening Tango Show or dinner at the hotel 06/05 Buenos Aires: 15 Departure in the morning to the Tigre to take a Catamaran and start navigating the Delta where we will pass through the Sarmiento Museum, and after it visit the Historic District of Tigre. We continue our trip to the TemaikeÌ n biopark, lunch and in the afternoon we visit this park. Return to the hotel at night. Dinner. 07/05 Buenos Aires / CoÌ rdoba: 16 After breakfast, we will depart in the morning to Cordoba, lunch on route.
