Joint Hydrographic Survey in the SOMS Objective To ensure safety of navigation and protection of marine environment in the SOMS through updating electronic navigational charts(encs) surveyed in 1998 with multi-beam echo-sounders. Timeline The project was authorized by the 39th Tripartite Technical Expert Group (TTEG) held in Malaysia in 2014.
