You'll return to Gardiner after a day of unforgettable highlights. Day Nine Continuing through Montana, you'll discover Helena, state capital and former gold-mining town, and spend the night in the quintessential high plains town of Great Falls. Here, the 8,000-mile trek by the pioneer explorers is celebrated in the fascinating Lewis and Clark Center, and works by the most famous of the 'western artists', Charles M Russell, hang in a museum bearing his name. Day 10 Continuing north, you'll cross back into Canada, to spend the final two nights of the tour amid the stunning scenery of the Waterton Lakes National Park. You'll stay in the heart of this natural wonderland at beautiful Waterton Townsite, with its lakeside walkways, hiking trails, pretty shops and bustling restaurants.
