A report of those who have stepped into leadership roles for Holiday Boutique 2014 since our April meeting will be given by chair Marlene Schulte. As you recall, she is searching for an event Co-chair, a Traffic chair, etc. and if you are interested please contact her directly prior to the meeting. Based on that report, membership will decide if we are to continue with the fundraising effort that has allowed us to grant funds to mountain community non-profits as we have done for over thirty years ( and contributing hundreds of thousands of dollars ), or become strictly a social organization. In a survey conducted a few years ago, those participating overwhelmingly voted to continue with the Holiday Boutique, but without filling the leadership roles involved that would no longer be possible. Decisions cannot wait any later than this last meeting of the year as we have commitments to Conifer High School, our participating artisans, etc. To All CNN Members; Now is the time CN&N...this is YOUR club. What's it to be??? I'm sending out a plea to all CNN members that we still need chair and co-chair positions for several areas for our annual CNN Holiday Boutique in November. I still need a co-chair to help me coordinate and facilitate a successful 2014 Holiday Boutique. Also, we need chair and co-chairs for Location, Traffic and Signage. If you think you might like to volunteer for one of these positions, please contact Marlene Schulte by email or phone, and we can discuss the duties involved in each area. Thanks so much.
