Expectations The same expectations of high standards of behaviour will apply during the trip as they would in school. During any free time, pupils will be expected to remain in groups of at least 3 people. There will be a designated meeting point. Pupils will be expected to check in at appropriate regular intervals. All staff members will be carrying a mobile phone, which pupils will be able to ring in an emergency. Staff will not be held responsible for any money or electrical equipment taken. Any devices are taken at the students own risk. Inappropriate or disruptive behaviour in the hostel may result in an additional charge being applied by the hostel, which will be passed on to parents.

Rooms All rooms will be single sex and every effort will be made to allocate pupils to rooms within friendship groups. However, we are not able to request specific rooms with specific bed numbers. Pupils should complete a room buddy request sheet as soon as possible.

Things to bring Warm clothes for 2 days in Germany Travel clothes for 2 days Sensible shoes Average temperature is 0-6 Bag for the day (zip fastening) A towel Money recommended 50-80 Watch Camera Music/games for the coach ride (with charger and EU adapter) Germany DO NOT do carrier bags. Bring reusable carriers if you think you ll buy a lot at the market.
Things you need to bring Some of the items at the markets can be quite pricey. If a pupil wishes to take more than 80, we recommend that they carry the bulk of that money on a cash card. They can use this card to withdraw money from a cash point in Cologne. Some of these cards can also be used like a debit card. NB. There may not be cash withdrawal facilities in the theme park.
