Presidents Thoughts By Club President Randy Johnson April 2019 Hi Everyone It sure is nice to see the month of April arrive with the hope that the winter months are behind us and we can look forward to sunshine and warmer temperatures. It s my hope that the weather will be nice enough to get my corvette out for a drive after the long winter months of storage under the car cover. But more importantly, I want a nice sunny day on Saturday, April 13 th, for our first morning coffee and doughnuts at Dunkin Donuts in Altoona with my corvette friends along with some interesting conversation. After our fill of coffee and doughnuts a nice drive through the countryside would make for a nice addition to our event for the day. Coming up on Saturday, May 4 th at 8:30am is our ACC Kick-Off breakfast at the Traditions Restaurant in Martinsburg. This will be an excellent way to start off our year with a good breakfast with friends and of course, lots of great conversation. I hope mother nature cooperates and gives us all a nice warm and sunny day so that we can drive our corvettes to this event. As always, this is when we will have the annual drawing for your chance to have your corvette on our dash plaque for the car show on August 4 th. I m looking forward to seeing everyone at this breakfast. In closing, I would like to say this is a corvette club that we can all be very proud of because it is made up of a great group of people. Thank you all for giving me the privilege of being your president of the. Have a nice day Randy Mark your Calendars!!!
