I do not know about the rest of you, but I m tired of the rain. Hope this finds everyone in good health and ready to start your show season. We have had small turnouts for our meetings the last couple of months. I m hoping that is due to the weather. Please feel free to make any suggestion you think will help us moving forward. This is the last time I will be reminding everyone of the membership renewal. Membership dues are now due and payable, $40.00 annually. The dues must be received by the March meeting, they were actually due as of March 1, after that the dues are considered late and there will be a $15.00 reinstatement fee plus the $40.00 annual fee. As I mentioned last month we have secured the Elks Lodge as our meeting place for this year. Our meetings will be the second Thursday of each month at the Napa Elks Lodge, 2840 Soscol Ave, and Meetings start at 6:30. May you all keep the rubber side down? He is taking such good care of Dianne. Dianne is doing pretty well, she is taking her Radiation treatments every day and then Ray gives her a Chemo pill every night. She is resting a lot as the treatments are pretty hard on her. Would be best to send her cards at this time. A card was sent to the Stanley family as Kathy passed from Pancreatic cancer in Sparks, Nevada. Her husband John past away while they were members of our club. After John past Kathy moved to Sparks, Nevada to be near her children. Talked with Claudette Daily, so nice to hear that cheerful voice of hers again. She is feeling much better, she does get very tired when going to appointments. She would love to hear from the members, maybe a phone call or a nice cheer up card. Our member Jim Hyer has been going through some tough times. He lost his mother in law, whom he is very close to. The same week his brother who has had several strokes, had a massive stroke. Then he receives a call that his cousin in Bakersfield has been fighting terminal cancer and the end is very close. Jim we wish you the best, that is a lot to take on for one person. Please take a moment and send the above members cards, it will be appreciated. CLUB BREAKFAST Eagle Vines Golf Club 580 South Kelly Road 9:00 am Sunday March 5th Please Welcome New Member Brent Farlie of Napa Brent has a 1968 Ford F-100 Pickup Garage Logic One day a guy was driving home when he suddenly realized that it was his daughter's birthday and - or dear! - he hadn't bought anything for her. So, he pulls into the parking lot of the next shopping mall he passes, finds a toy store and asks for "A Barbie Doll for my daughter." The shop assistant looks at him in a slightly condescending manner and asks, "All right Sir, which Barbie would that be?" The man looks surprised so the assistant continues, "We have Barbie Goes To the Ball at $19.99, Barbie goes Shopping at $19.99, Barbie goes Clubbing at $19.99, Barbie Goes To The Gym at $19.99, Cyber Barbie at $19.99 and Divorced Barbie at $249.99." The man can't help himself and asks, "Why is Divorced Barbie $249.99 when all those other Barbies are selling for $19.99?" "Well Sir, that's quite obvious!" says the assistant, "Divorced Barbie comes with Ken's house, Ken's furniture, Ken's car... 1951 Chevrolet pick up truck Deluxe Cab, 235 ci engine (was a running truck) Partially restored.
