On Wednesday, October 3 rd, 2012, at 11:30 a.m., the Lanark County Municipal Trails Corporation and our partners will celebrate the opening of a new hiking loop at the Baird Trail. The new loop doubles the length of the existing trail, includes a boardwalk and a scenic ramble, beside historic split rail fences. Thank you to our volunteers from the Mississippi Valley Conservation Authority and the Lanark County Stewardship Council for making this trail a reality. Come join us for the celebration at 2410 Herron Mills Road (County Road 8).
