Photo provided by Tina Ellis The Methodist-Episcopal Meeting House in Weston (later known as Old Parish Church) was completed in 1832. In 1866, the ground floor was leased to the town for use as Town Hall, the balcony was closed in as a full second floor, and church services, altar and all, moved upstairs. Note in the picture that the main entrance has been elevated to a position between the two floors. Built in the early 1850s as a Union Store (with memberships), it became a conventional country store in 1866. Partridge was one of series of proprietors.
