* Horsin Around * Volume 28, Issue 11 November 2017 President s Message! Greetings everyone! Even though Halloween is almost here and Thanksgiving is right around the corner, too, our weather certainly is way too warm for this late in the year. Everyone that participated in SBMO s Route 66 Cruise on October 7 th had a wonderful time. Seeing the historical buildings along Route 66 was very interesting. The stops at the Donut Man, Waldo Ward Farm, Hollywood Forever Cemetery, and especially having lunch at the Fair Oaks Pharmacy & Soda Shop were just perfect. We appreciate all the time and effort that Wayne & Sallie Pershing spent on organizing this event. Their maps and directions were terrific. We definitely got our kicks on Route 66! The election for the 2018 Officers and Board Members will be held at the November general meeting. Jim Morrison, Vice President, will be conducting the meeting and election in my absence. (Alan and I will be attending the SE- MA and AAPEX shows in Las Vegas.)
