New Air Service - Reagan National New Destinations Tallahassee, FL (TLH) once daily service starting February 15, 2018 Little Rock, AR (LIT) once daily service starting April 3, 2018 Montgomery, AL (MGM) once daily service starting June 7, 2018 Increased Service Savannah, GA (SAV) from once daily to twice daily starting February 15, 2018 Myrtle Beach, SC (MYR) from twice weekly to once daily starting April 3, 2018 Pensacola, FL (PNS) from once daily to twice daily starting April 3, 2018 Fort Walton Beach, FL (VPS) from twice weekly to once daily starting May 4, 2018 New destinations and increased service are the result of American managing existing slots, decreasing frequency of service in other markets with no lost destinations. With these changes American will serve 72 destinations from Reagan National with 255 daily (weekday) departures.
New Air Service Dulles International October 6, 2017 Started new service to San Antonio, TX (SAT) with four weekly flights. Reduced service to Austin, TX (AUS) from daily to three weekly flights. April 8, 2018 Service to Chicago-O Hare (ORD) returns with seasonal once-daily flights. Seasonal service to Colorado Springs, CO. (COS) also resumes. November 1, 2017 Started new Essential Air Service (EAS) as United Express with six-weekly flights serving Clarksburg, WV. (CKB) Has submitted bids to start EAS service in early 2018 to Greenbrier Valley Airport in Lewisburg, WV (LWB) and Shenandoah Valley Regional Airport in Staunton, VA (SHD) with six flights each per week.

Airline Updates November 1, 2017 Air India upgraded its three weekly Delhi flights from the Boeing 777-200LR to the 777-300ER. Configured with 342 seats 4 First Class, 35 Business Class and 303 Economy Class, the B777-300ER provides 104 additional seats per flight. April 25, 2018 All Virgin America flights will be rebranded as Alaska Airlines. As previously reported, Virgin America flights between Reagan National and Dallas-Love will begin transitioning to the Alaska Airlines brand in February 2018.

Cargo Update October 4 November 8 Qatar Cargo operated six cargo charter flights, each transporting approximately 130 head of dairy cattle from Dulles International to Doha, Qatar. October 9 Staff attended the annual Health & Personal Care Logistics Conference in Chicago, IL. Co-hosted a reception with United Cargo for over 150 pharmaceutical logistics executives. October 17 Co-hosted a customer appreciation event in Munich, Germany with United Cargo for over 130 freight forwarders. October 22-28 Staff and Korean Air Cargo hosted local freight forwarder management on a cargo sales mission to Hong Kong, China and Seoul, South Korea.
