Cost is usually $25 per person but the Club is being given a discount of $15 per vehicle. Club members usually go to lunch together and then take back roads home. There is no tour in January. Ken indicated that the Committee was looking to have shorter tours more frequently. Show Committee: Pam Pumphrey talked about another Car Show to support Honor Flight. She indicated that because there are so many car shows in the spring that it would be better to do an Honor Flight Car Show in the fall. It doesn t have to be around the time of an Honor Flight the show is to raise funds that will be donated to Honor Flight. It is anticipated that it would be in the same place as last time, the Department of Transportation parking lot. It was suggested that perhaps around Veteran s Day would be a good time. The Honor Flight this year will be on Saturday, May 20; all are encouraged to volunteer or just come out to welcome the veterans home at the end of their flight. A flyer was passed around about the Heart Ball and the call for old cards for a Sinatra era themed event. Participants will receive a free dinner. Car entrants should arrive between 3:30 and 5:00 p.m. Call Pam Pumphrey for more details. 9:45. Jack Hanbury is working with TCC on this. It would be a scholarship for a student which would also include free club memberships (local and national) for one year as a way to encourage new/young members in the Club. Neal Davis presented an amended motion after discussion as follows: The TRAACA will sponsor a scholarship program with Lively Technical Center, Automotive Service Technology program, which will be limited to $500 for 1 or 2 students (depending on eligible students identified) for their second year in the program which would include memberships in the TRAACA and National AACA for one year. Page 7 Vehicles for Sale: Car #1 Jim Tyson I have attached a picture of my 1957 Mercury Montclair. It has been completely rebuilt and only needs a paint job in the future. I am asking $18,500, but will accept reasonable offers. I may be reached at 229-977-5486. Please see that this is placed in the upcoming newsletter. Thank you, Jim Tyson 319 Dunedin Dr. Thomasville, Ga.

Page 8 Car #2 Norm Madsen From Norm s e-mail: I've come to the realization that I have too many old cars. I've decided to sell my newest old car. It is the Red over Black 1954 Packard that I have driven on so many TRAACA tours, shows and other events, and on a few Packard tours. This weekend, I am trailering it to Sarasota for the Florida Packard Club Meet, and putting a sign in the window. I want to give TRAACA members a chance at it first, as I'd like to see it stay in our club. If anyone in the club purchases it, I will make myself available for questions and advice. I have owned this Packard for 15 years, and know it intimately. It is a great driver, that I could get into and drive anywhere at a moment's notice. I've done lots of work on the car over the years to make it a safe and great handling driver. Specifics: 1954 Packard Cavalier aprox 52,000 miles from new 327ci Straight Eight, rebuilt aprox 10,000 miles ago. Starts and runs and drives very well. Chrysler 727 Automatic Transmission (Neal Davis converted the car from its Packard trans to the 727 for me ten years ago, and it is a huge improvement.) Factory PS, PB, Power Antenna, Signal-seeking AM Radio, all working Optima Battery and Cutoff Switch Original Air Conditioning---I never finished making it work, but have all the parts Heater Wide-whitewall radial tires Gas gauge is the only non-working item. I believe the sending unit is the problem, and I have a perfect spare. Vacuum wipers don't work well. I prefer Rain-X

Page 9 I Includes custom fit California Car Cover, which always is on the car except when I am driving it. Includes lots of documentation and receipts, albums and letters and photos of car's history and its restoration and from the TX dealership it was originally purchased from. Includes original owner's manual, copy of factory service manual, and some other literature. Probably some other stuff I can't think of now. I also have lots of spare parts available.
