Commercial Burglaries: Date/Time Address (block range) Method of Entry Description/Suspect Information 03/09/2016 3:20am 22000 W Ten Mile Rd. (Commercial Office) Rock through front door glass. Officers were dispatched on B&E Alarm at business. (3:20am) Offices arrived and observed the front door glass damaged with a 10" rock lying on the front sidewalk. Officers made entry and located no suspects, but the cash drawer was missing. Owner arrived on scene and stated an undisclosed amount of money and a laptop were missing. 03/13/2016 8:38am 25000 W Twelve Mile (Commercial Food- Buffet) Front door was forced open. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Business owners that have alarms on their businesses should never disregard the alarm, especially at 5:49am. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Owner for business states the business was last seen in normal condition at approx.12:20am. Owner states he received a call from the alarm company at approx. 5:49am stating the alarm at the business was going off. He advised the alarm company to disregard the alarm at that time. At Approx. 8:40am Officers were dispatched to alarm at same business. They discovered good B&E. Cash was taken from the cash register.

From: 03/13/2016 9:45pm To: 03/14/2016 6:30am 26000 W Twelve Mile Rd (Commercial- Medical) Unknown how entry was gained. There was a reported power failure at the business on Sunday 03/13/2016 which caused (R/P) one of the employees to respond to the business to check on things. R/P states he did not observe anything out of the ordinary when he arrived at the business at 9:30pm and left the business at approximately 9:45pm. At 6:40am the following morning an employee discovered that several items were missing from the office. There was no sign of forced entry. Several items were discovered missing.

From: 03/12/2016 5:00pm To: 03/14/2016 10:30am 26000 W Twelve Mile Rd (Commercial- Office) Metal Magnetic Plate was removed from the front service door. R/P (manager) states after she was advised of the Burglary in Suite this date she inspected her property assigned to another suite and discovered that three storage closets/rooms forced open and contents missing. Several industrial cleaning items are missing. R/p also states that there have been other suspicious thefts recently that weren t reported. Home Invasion: Date/Time Address (block range) Method of Entry Description/Suspect Information 03/08/2016 6:05am 21000 Indian St. Attempt Only on rear door wall. Witness (neighbor) states he was awakened by his dog barking. When he got up to see why his dog was barking he observed a subject attempting to gain entry into his neighbors residence via the rear door wall. The suspect fled west through the back yard towards Negaunee St. Suspect Description: Last Name SUSPECT First Name UNKNOWN DOB (Age) 40 Sex M Race WHITE Facial Hair Goatee Only Build Very Thin Height 6' 0" Weight 150 Attire Blk Hoodie/Camo Pants/Blk Beanie

From: 03/09/2016 4:00pm To: 03/10/2016 1:00pm 28000 Bell Rd. (Vacant Residence) Possibly a key. No force was found. R/P is a Hud Contractor, he discovered the Home Invasion. The home was attacked between 4:00pm and the following day at 1:00pm. R/P believes suspects entered the home with a key because no force was found on the home. Suspect(s) stole a hot water heater from the residence. From: 03/09/2016 12:00pm To: 03/12/2016 12:00pm 23000 W Nine Mile Rd. (Vacant Residence) Lock Box was removed and key inside lock box was used to gain entry. Victim stated that someone stole the copper pipes out of the basement. Entry was gained into the house by forcing open the lockbox and removing the key to residence. All the copper piping was taken from the basement. 03/12/2016 8:15pm 22000 Nottingham Ln. (Residential- Apartments) Lock Hasp was forced open. Victim discovered her plywood door open and the lock hasp partially removed. Upon further inspection she discovered her personal belongings moved around and a box containing old documents was taken.

(Commercial- Auto Sales) Status S - Stolen Manufacturer Dodge Model Stratus License No. Unknown Dealer Plate Color SIL - Silver or Aluminum Vehicle Year 2004 Body Style State License Year Description Motor Vehicle Victim (employee) states she took her break at 7:05pm and had her keys with her. Later in the evening she could not find her keys and some other employees said that she left them on the counter in the break room. Victim looked for her keys with negative results. When victim ended her shift she went out to where her vehicle was parked and it was gone. Victim states she had just purchased the vehicle and there is an unknown Dealer Plate on the vehicle. (Silver Dodge Stratus) From: 03/09/2016 11:30pm To: 03/10/2016 12:20am 17000 Pennsylvania Status S - Stolen Manufacturer Toyota Model Camry Color DGR - Dark Green Vehicle Year 2006 Body Style 4D - 4 Door State MI License Year 2016 Victim advised he parked his vehicle in the driveway of his residence on 3/9/2016 at 11:30pm. On 3/10/2016 at 12:20am he noticed the vehicle was missing. No suspect information at this time.

From: 03/10/2016 7:00am To: 03/10/2016 6:00pm 15000 Providence Dr. (Residential- Apartments) Status S - Stolen Manufacturer Plymouth Model Sundance Color DGR Dark Green Vehicle Year 1994 Body Style State MI Victim stated he parked his Plymouth Sundance in his parking structure at 7:00am and returned to find it missing the same day at 6:00pm. Victim stated he believes his soon to be ex-wife had a key made and took his car. Suspect has been identified and incident is under investigation. 03/09/2016 10:00pm 24000 Walden Dr. West (Residential- Apartments) Status S - Stolen Manufacturer SATURN Model VUE Color DBL - Dark Blue Vehicle Year 2009 Body Style State MI License Year 2017 Victim states around 10:00pm her friend took her 2009 Blue Saturn Vue without permission. Victim states her friend recently became homeless and she opened her house up to him and set him up with a job. The night the vehicle was taken, victim states that she picked up her friend from his first day at the new job. When they got home, he took a shower and just left without any further conversation. Victim then discovered her keys and her vehicle were gone. Suspect has been identified and incident is under investigation.

03/11/2016 5:45pm 19000 W 12 Mile Rd. (Residential- Condo s) Status SR - Both Stolen And Recovered Manufacturer Chevy Model Equinox 2LT Color SIL - Silver or Aluminum Vehicle Year 2012 Body Style 4D - 4 Door State al License Year 2016 Recovered Date/Time 03/15/2016 12:00pm Victim stated that she parked and secured her 2012 Chevy Equinox in the parking lot between the hours of 5:30pm-6:00pm. Victim went back to where she had parked her vehicle at 10:30am the following day to discover the vehicle missing. The vehicle was recovered in Detroit by DPD. The vehicle was unoccupied and there were no arrests made. Tips: Never leave your vehicle running unattended Park in areas where your vehicle is viewable if possible Use commercially available security devices

(Commercial- Fitness) Victims 2009 Chevy HHR was attacked. Vehicle was ransacked but nothing was taken. Victim returned to her vehicle at 10:00pm and discovered the rear driver s side window was broken out. The interior was ransacked but at this time victim didn't observe anything missing. Surveillance Video shows a Gray 4-dr. boxier Jeep (Possibly a Commander) driving in the lot. The Jeep parks and then moves at least once before parking several spaces west of the victim s car at 5:27pm. The B/M driver gets out of the Jeep and walks around other vehicles including the victim s vehicle before returning to his vehicle. The suspect then returns to the victim s vehicle at 5:33pm. The suspect then returns to his vehicle holding something in his right hand. He enters his vehicle and pulls out of the parking space. The suspect continues to cruise the lot for a short period of time before leaving the lot. Victim s purse with contents is missing from her vehicle. One of victim s credit cards had already been used at a gas station in Detroit.

From: 03/08/2016 6:00pm To: 03/08/2016 10:00pm 26000 Evergreen Rd. (Commercial- University) 2008 GMC Denali was attacked. Clothing, sunglasses and a Tablet was taken. Victim stated she parked her 2008 GMC Envoy in the parking lot of University today at 6:00pm. Victim returned to her vehicle at 10:00pm and discovered her dome light was on. Victim checked her vehicle and discovered it had been rummaged through. Purse with contents was taken. Victim states sometime between 5:30pm- 11:00pm someone broke out a passenger side window of her vehicle and took her purse.

03/09/2016 9:48am 23000 Plumbrooke Dr. 2008 Chevy Cobalt, rear passenger side window was broken out. Purse and Flat Screen TV was taken. Victim states sometime between 12:30am and 7:30am someone broke out the rear passenger side window and took victims Purse and a Flat Screen TV. (Commercial- Food) 2003 Ford, rear passenger window was broken out. Nothing was taken. Victim is an employee at restaurant. She arrived at work at 5:30pm. Victim returned to her vehicle at 2:30am and discovered her passenger side window broken out. The vehicle was rummaged through. It doesn t appear that anything was taken.

From: 03/08/2016 2:00pm To: 03/09/2016 6:25am 28000 Northwestern (Commercial- Hotel) 2003 Chevy Trail Blazer. Driver s door lock was punched and clothing was taken from the vehicle. Victim stated she parked and locked her 2003 Chevrolet Trail Blazer at approximately2:00pm. Victim returned to vehicle at approximately 6:25am and observed that the vehicle had been ransacked and her clothing was stolen from the back seat. From: 03/09/2016 11:24am To: 03/09/2016 11:31am 22000 W Eight Mile Rd. (Commercial Wholesale) Chevy Suburban. Drivers side Rear Wheel & Tire was taken. Victim states he walked into business at approx. 11:18am and came out at approx. 11:47am. Victim found the driver's side rear wheel & tire missing and the vehicle was sitting on landscape bricks. Just the one wheel & tire was missing. All of the lug nuts on the other tires were still secured. At 11:24am surveillance video shows suspect van pulling alongside victims Suburban but the Suburban was blocking what was taking place. You can see the Suburban slightly moving and then the suspect van leaving the scene. Suspect vehicle left at 11:31am towards the 8 mile entrance. The Suspect Van might be an older Chrysler or Dodge product, possibly hunter green or charcoal gray with a missing driver side rear hubcap.

From: 03/08/2016 8:00pm To: 03/10/2016 10:00am 23000 Riverside Dr. (Residential- Apartments) Status S Stolen License Plate Description Michigan License Plate Victim states she last saw her plate attached to her vehicle around 8:00pm. The following morning around 10:00am she noticed her plate was missing. From: 03/11/2016 11:00am To: 03/11/2016 11:20am From: 03/11/2016 6:00pm To: 03/11/2016 7:55pm 26000 Evergreen Rd. (Ice Arena) 27000 Franklin Rd. (Residential- Apartments) Laptop was stolen from 2015 Lincoln MKS Status S - Stolen Manufacturer City of Detroit Model Taxi Cab License Description Detroit Cab License Victim states that around 11:00am he parked his vehicle at the ice arena to go on a short walk before work. Victim returned to his vehicle around 11:20am and noticed that his laptop (Asus), bag and folder were all missing from the back seat. Victim thinks he left the vehicle unlocked. Victim stated he parked his Taxi Cab at Apartment Complex at approx. 6:00pm and returned to it at 7:55pm. After returning to his Taxi Cab he discovered that someone had stolen his Taxi Cab License Plate which was screwed onto the back of the vehicle.

From: 03/13/2016 11:15pm To: 03/14/2016 5:15am 25000 Shiawassee Rd. (Residential- Apartments) 2016 Ford Escape was attacked. Right rear window was broken out. Victim states sometime between 11:15pm and the following morning at 5:15am someone broke out a window and ransacked her vehicle. Victim states there may have been a paper prescription that was taken from the vehicle. A witness (neighbor) states around 3:30am he observed a B/M walking around vehicles in the parking lot. 03/13/2016 5:38pm 22000 W Eight Mile Rd. (Commercial- Wholesale) 3- Visa Gift Cards were taken from victims 2005 Chevy Trail Blazer. Officers were dispatched to business for an LFA in progress. Unknown subject was attacking a Chevy Trail Blazer. The suspect was in a White Chrysler Town & Country. Officers located the suspect vehicle and spoke to the family associated with the vehicle. It was discovered that a cousin of the family stayed in the vehicle while they were inside shopping at store. The cousin matched the description of the suspect and he fled the area on foot. One of the family members called the suspect on his cell phone. Contact was made and he made admissions that the officers overheard that he was in the victim s vehicle looking for some marijuana? The suspect was advised by the family member to return to business but he refused. The suspect wasn t located. Suspect was last seen wearing black hoodie, black torn pants, and a cast on his left arm. Suspect has been identified and incident is under investigation.

Further inspection of the vehicle revealed that victims handgun which she left under the front seat of her vehicle was missing. (Commercial Wholesale) At 11:24am surveillance video shows suspect vehicle pulling alongside victims Suburban. Suspect vehicle left at 11:31am towards the 8 mile entrance. The Suspect Vehicle is believed to be an older Chrysler or Dodge Mini Van product, possibly hunter green or charcoal gray with a missing driver side rear hubcap. One Wheel & Tire was taken from victim s vehicle. Possession of Marijuana/ Causing a School Disturbance and R&O- 2- Arrests 03/11/2016 8:30am 24000 Block of Lahser Rd. (High School Basketball Game) Several Southfield Officers were working High School Basketball Detail. Officer was standing by the gym door entrance and observed two subjects fighting. Officer advised the detail units and went to stop the two subjects. The fight then grew to six subjects fighting. All six subjects started to run to the north gym door still throwing punches at each other and knocking down several citizens that were leaving the game. One of the original fighters fell to the ground; he was immediately taken into custody by Officers. A second subject that was involved in the original fight was also located and taken into custody. Both subjects were taken into custody for Causing a School Disturbance.

Fraud- Illegal Use of a Credit Card/ Obstruct Police/ Felony Warrant 1-Arrest 03/11/2016 5:47pm 22000 Block of Telegraph Rd. (Commercial- Furniture Store) Officers responded to business on a Credit Card Fraud in progress. The suspect came into the store and purchased an undisclosed amount of furniture. The suspect presented ID and Credit Card that were both later discovered to be fraudulent. Officers arrived on scene and located suspect. The suspect gave Officers several alias names during their investigation. Officers determined that the suspect attempted to purchase several items of furniture with a Fraudulent Credit Card. The suspect was arrested for Fraudulent Use of a Credit Card, Obstructing Police and he also had a Felony Warrant for the same thing.

Aggravated Assault/ LIB/ MDOP- 1- Arrest 03/09/2016 4:52am 27000 Block of Franklin Rd. (Residential- Apartments) Officers responded to a fight in progress between two males. Officers arrived on scene and their investigation revealed that suspect came to victim s apartment to retrieve money that he had loaned to the victim. Victim gave suspect an undisclosed amount of money and advised he would have the remaining money that he owed suspect at the end of the week. The suspect was angry that victim didn t pay him the full amount. Suspect went into victim s bedroom and took victims Bankcard and his State ID. When victim confronted suspect he attempted to punch victim. Victim ducked and suspect broke out a window. Suspect then broke out a second window. Suspect then grabbed a Kitchen Knife and assaulted victim. When victim attempted to call 911 with his cell phone, suspect took victims cell phone and fled victim s apartment. Officers later located suspect and arrested him. OWI- 1- Arrest 12 Mile/ Telegraph Rd. 03/12/2016 12:06am Officer initiated a stop for a traffic violation at location. Officer Tijerina made contact with the operator of the vehicle and suspected that he was intoxicated. An OWI investigation was conducted and the subject was arrested for OWI and lodged.
