This year started off rough, but ended well and I m ready for 2014. I hope everyone else here finds that they received more blessings than hardships in 2013. We should have plenty of fun as a club this year - Springfest, Vairs at the Fair, Hilton Head (or Tybee), and possibly other events as the come up. DECEMBER MEETING MINUTES - HEIDI CLAMP We had a wonderful Corvair Christmas Dinner in Albany, GA with our hosts, James and Lillian Law. In addition to our hosts, the party was attended by Billy and Wendy Price, Kevin Price, Joe and Rhonda Gail Gleaton, David and Heidi Clamp, Clay Grant, Al and Paula Hilderbrand, Chris and Joan Law, Shirley Smith, Chuck Smith, Clay Collier, Dot Davis, Lonnie and Lorine Lewis, Chuck Wofford (with Buddy and Molly), and Tye and Janet Howard. Joe Gleaton, thanked everyone for coming and opened with prayer. After eating a delicious meal, Joe Gleaton opened the meeting. Chris and Joan Law (James son and daughter in law) have now officially joined the club. Yay We ve had a really great year. Both Springfest and Vairs at the Fair were successful events. We reviewed the financial records for 2013 and accepted the reports. Tybee Island in November was a blast. They even got complained about for being noisy college kids. What a compliment. From Macon / Warner Robins take I -75 North to exit 188 (Highway 42 North). This is a horseshoe ramp. At the end of the ramp, turn left onto Highway 42N. Go 6.7 miles and Weldon Rd will be on your left (right past MM 23). If you go past a nursing home, you just missed it. Go 1.8 miles on Weldon Rd and my place is on the left. You will see the red metal building from the road. Be sure to take the driveway (2 nd one) across from the mailbox marked 940. JANUARY MEETING DIRECTIONS TO CLAY From Atlanta, take I 75 South to exit 198 (High Falls Rd). turn left and go 2.7 miles (you will cross High Falls State Park Bridge) Turn right on Blount Rd. Take Blount Rd 2.2 miles to Weldon Rd on your right. Go 1.2 miles on Weldon, Mailbox for 940 will be on your left, my driveway is directly across it on the right.
