Vessel Charges Commercial vessels Charges will be based on Gross Tonnage measured in accordance with the International Tonnage Convention 1969. Ship dues are payable per week or part thereof during which the vessel is in the harbour. a) Vessels engaged primarily in offshore exploration, construction or support including survey. Any other engagement of a pilot, including detention will be charged as follows. Per hour or part thereof 55.00 One hour s notice is required for sailing, cancellation within this period will result in an additional pilotage charge of 50% of the appropriate rate.
