FISHING Full Day Fishing $500/PP Belt Creek is truly a hidden gem in central Montana. While called a creek, it is larger than some rivers. The pinnacle of Belt Creek is the Sluice Box Canyon section that flows through the Sluice Box State Park. Fishing will take place in a beautiful limestone canyon with sheer cliff walls rising up hundreds of feet. Deep pools, and fast boulder strewn runs hold lots of hard fighting rainbow, brown and cutthroat trout. You will break for lunch and then back out to the water to fish for these low pressured trout. Mininum age is 12 years old. Half Day Fishing $300/PP Half day fly fishing takes place on Belt Creek. After wading through several miles of trout filled waters you will break for lunch on the banks of Belt Creek before you head back. Mininum age is 12 years old. Family Fishing Excusion $150/PP This is a great way for the whole family to experience Montana trout fishing. You will fish from the banks with spinning rods in the scenic Sluice Box State Park. Your guide will help your group find the deep holes that usually produce rainbow and brown trout. Maximum of eight on this excursion.
MONTANA HORSEBACK RIDING Bearcat Canyon Trail Ride $200/PP Get in touch with the Wild West on this breathtaking trail. Your wrangler will match you with one of our trusty four legged friends. Our horses love their work and are excellent teachers. The trail begins at our 7,000 acre Bearcat Canyon Ranch, bordering the Sluice Box State Park and the National Forest. We will wind through soaring limestone cliffs, cross meadows blanketed in wildflowers and take in stunning views of the Little Belt Mountains. Bald Eagles, Elk and Deer are just some of the wildlife that make Bearcat their home. Offered 9am to 11am, 1pm to 3pm, and 4pm to 6pm. Horse Whispering Class $50/PP This is truly a unique experience. Have one of our expert trainers teach you the basics of horse whispering or what is known in the industry as natural horsemanship. You will learn how to take a horse into a round pen and communicate with the horse through your body language. If you are good enough you will create what is called a bond and have the horse follow you around the round pen. This is a skill set that you will be able to take to any equine encounter to create a sense of safety and confidence with the horse. Ranch Creek Trail Ride $100/PP This hour long riding excursion takes you along the scenic views of Belt Creek, open pastures and rolling hills at the main ranch. We will do basic riding instruction prior to hitting the trail to ensure you and our ranch horse get acquainted. This is an ideal ride for our guests that wish to have their first horse experience or maybe revisiting horses and riding after a long break. Offered Monday, Wednesday and Thursday 9am to 10:30am and 3pm to 5pm. Also Offered 3pm to 5pm on Tuesday and Friday. Saturday to be determined.
MONTANA HORSEBACK RIDING Sunset Dinner Trail Ride $200/PP This one of a kind ride will take you to the top of the ranch looking over the river valley. We will ride through the rolling hills and pastures that surround the ranch while having views of Belt Butte, the Highwood Mountains and the Little Belt Mountains. A market fresh picnic style dinner will be created for you and your guests. We will conclude the ride by taking in the Big Sky Country and its beautiful sunsets. Offered Friday from 6pm to 8:30pm. *Champagne and wine available upon request at an additional charge. Limit one glass per guest. Private Lessons $150/HOUR Our Beautiful 140 x 300 outdoor arena offers you the opportunity to work on all of your riding skills during one hour of one on one instruction. Bring your questions or try something new like barrel racing or pole bending. Either way you will come away from your personalized experience a better horse person. Offered Monday through Friday. Half Day Canyon Trail Ride and Lunch $325/PP Enjoy everything Bearcat Canyon Ranch has to offer from the back of a horse. We will stop at one of our picnic areas where your wrangler will serve a delicious and rustic midday meal. Relax, explore or jump in the creek before we mount up and head back down the trail. Offered 11am to 2pm. ATV WILDLIFE EXCURSION Exploration Tour $230/Single $330/Double $350/Ranger (6 Seater) This four hour scenic ATV ride will take you to river bottoms, through dry canyons and to mountain tops to take in the views of the Lewis and Clark National Forest. You will stop by a historic miner s cabin for lunch and if you are feeling adventurous, jump from a medium sized cliff into a deep pool to cool off. In the summer time wear a bathing suit under your cloths and bring a camera because this will be an experience to remember. SPORTING CLAYS Sporting Clay Course $100/Private Lesson $75/PP w/gun & Ammo What is sporting clays? Patience. Precision. But mostly exhilaration! Often times described as golf with a shotgun sporting clays is a lifelong sport that can be equally enjoyable to shooters of any age, gender, or level of skill. It is simple enough for beginners and complex enough that it can never be perfected. Set in a remote coulee, our 7 station course presents several targets thrown in a variety of trajectories, angles, speeds, elevations and distances which simulate actual hunting conditions. If you are a recreational target shooter, a wing shooting sportsman, or a new shooter looking to improve your shooting abilities, our professional instructor will not only teach you what to do and how to do it, but how to repeat that successful shot. DINING We are delighted that you have chosen to enjoy the rustic, fine fare prepared by our Executive Chef. Our specialty is sportsmen inspired and Montana refined. RBC food focuses on field to table, locally sourced proteins, and cowboy cuisine. You can expect authentic smoky barbeque tantilizing your tastebuds or flaky trout sizzling in the cast iron skillet from your early morning fish. There are no limits to the culinary pleasures out West. Please inform the concierge of any food allergies, dietary restrictions or preferences when booking. Pricing is as follows for guests over the age of 12. (Age 6-12 are half price. Ages under six are no charge.)
