To assist in clarity and direction of ATTAC and NCTCOG staff missions, the following focus areas shall describe agreed-upon goals for the Committee during calendar year 2014: Compatible Land Use Vital to future sustainability of aviation infrastructure, ATTAC and NCTCOG will facilitate compatible planning practices around regional aviation facilities and support overall objectives including data sharing. Encroachment Mitigation utilize mapping and technical analysis to continue proactive planning efforts and communication of potentially incompatible land use or development such as proposed obstructions. Airport Development share updates and data for airport master plans, airport layout plans, and other airport development to enhance spatial technical analysis and regional encroachment monitoring. Wildlife Hazards facilitate support to Wildlife Hazard Assessments and encourage the distribution and use of System Plan wildlife educational materials to the public and airport staff for mitigating and reporting wildlife activity.
