Departure will be at 7:45 a.m. sharp and the journey will take approximately 3 hours from Atlanta. Guests will stay overnight in local hotel accommodations arranged by The Carter Center. Buses will depart Plains after church service and lunch on Sunday, April 22, 2012, at 1: p.m., and arrive in Atlanta by 5 p.m. Buses will stop at the Atlanta Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport on the return journey from Plains to accomodate guests planning to depart Atlanta on Sunday evening. Once you receive your event registration confirmation from our office, we suggest that you book your return flight to leave Atlanta no earlier than 7 p.m. on Sunday, April 22, 2012. Information for Local Guests If you live locally, you have the option of parking your car at The Carter Center by 7:15 a.m. on Saturday, April 21, 2012, to travel with the group on the bus OR you can elect to drive independently and meet the group in Plains by 10:45 a.m. at the Plains High School Museum.
