Ray Burrows Telephone 3822 1366 For Sale $16,000 ONO Probably the best presented One Point Five in Australia with a history which is absolutely amazing and is still turning heads as it did in the Desert Inn, Las Vegas. Nevada and the other 38 US states it visited. It even had a cruise on the Queen Mary This car will be a pleasure to own and when registered in Western Australia, New South Wales and Queensland, each time it was the only One Point Five registered in that state. From The Captain January Run The Presidents Run to Fort Lytton was a very successful and enjoyable day. Nine Rileys and two modern cars participated Wendy and Ken supplied lunch and raised the bar for future President`s runs. We were all particularly happy to see Di Phillips and to hear of Ross`s progress. We all wish him a speedy recovery. An interesting tour of the Fort and a great lunch rounded off the day. February Run DATE Sunday 19 th to MT Glorious The February run will be to Mt Glorious via Mt Nebo. Meeting point will be the Gap Village Shopping centre on Waterworks Rd, The Gap. From the city follow Waterworks Rd through Ashgrove to The Gap. Turn into the village shopping centre at the lights. Meeting time is 9-30am, departing 10am From here we continue towards Mt Nebo, stopping at Jollys Lookout for morning tea ( 20 kms) Good facilities at the lookout just bring hot water and morning tea From here we continue 24 kms to a picnic ground at Mt Glorious. Facilities here are also good, bring lunch requirements. Tea Houses and Cafes very near by if needed. After lunch we reverse directions and drive 3 kms, turning left to Samford Valley. The descent is winding and steep. I hope to show the Future club shed to club members, attending the run. This depends on obtaining keys from the local council. At Samford (Caltex Garage) turn left and drive 2 kms to the old CSIRO station on the left. Editors Note I hope everyone had a great time Christmas / New Year period. What Model is this? Know your Riley. Your Answer To What Model? Know your Riley. The Lincock Fixed Head Coupe was one of the rarer bodies fitted to the 12/6 chassis. As with the Trinity and March, it was based on that offered on the Nine, although as it was also available on the 14/6 chassis, it seems to have been more of a success, with 2 or 3 dozen being produced. It was, at the time, a stylish low-slung 2- seater coupe, and with the Riley badge on the front, it's a surprise that it was only offered for a single year, although maybe this should suggest that production figures are towards the lower end of the suggested range!
