Ticket Quota And BSP Admin

Ticket Quota Every agency in India is allowed to issue ticket as per their ticket numbers allotted by every airline known as quota. Once the agency has consumed the number of allotted tickets by the airline for them automatically all ticket issue stop on that particular airline. Agency needs to request the concern airline for additional/fresh capping or quota for them.

Old Procedure Of Quota update Once the agency allotted airline capping is finished, than agency needs to contact the airline again for additional capping. Airline forwards the same request to Amadeus through Mail/Fax or SMS to increase the airline capping for the specified agency. Amadeus update the same manually through cryptic commands and revert the airline as same has been updated.

Need for the New product Old procedure was time consuming. Manual Cryptic entries increases the chances of manual error. Increased need for airlines to control agency ticketing. Numerous updates to be made in a day by the Amadeus office.

Ticket Quota And BSP Admin Ticket Quota Software was locally developed by Amadeus in 2001.This product has automated over 80 airlines in the Indian subcontinent and performs nearly 8000 updates a month.
