OUR MISSION FESTIVALS ADELAIDE has been established as the peak industry body representing Adelaide s 10 major arts and cultural festivals to establish Adelaide as the festival capital of Australia. Festivals Adelaide will: Promote the arts and cultural festivals as integral to South Australia and to the vitality of Adelaide s city centre; Act as a collective strategic voice on key issues; Work collaboratively to leverage the collective impact of the member festivals locally, nationally and internationally; Contribute to the development and stimulation of arts and culture in South Australia;»» Ensure that all stakeholders including government, corporate business, media and the general public recognize the key contribution of Adelaide s festivals to the quality of life and the economic, social and cultural well-being of South Australia.
