The Register Page 6 of 8 Drive Time continued from Page 1 So, here s a recap of the upcoming event and the two different ways you and your family can enjoy a warm August afternoon. The pre-event begins at Zona 78 restaurant at 7301 E. Tanque Verde Rd. for a quick lunch and hydration. This is a come whenever you want, eat and drink what you want (no alcohol, however before the drive), but be ready for the driver s meeting at 1:15 PM in the parking lot before we leave. The 100 miles at over 100 degrees begins promptly at 1:30 PM immediately after the driver s meeting. While exiting eastbound on Tanque Verde Rd at a light sometimes takes two cycles of the light, we re mostly devoid of lights and traffic after the start. The route (it ll be emailed to everyone and copies available at the start) is to the east and south eventually navigating Old Sonoita Hwy for some fun twists and turns before heading back to the same location as the start. The cars should arrive at FROST Gelato 7301 E. Tanque Verde at 3:30 PM to the accolades of all TBCR members who come for the gelato and celebration of success. If you choose to just come for the fun and skip the drive, you can get there a bit early (there is reserve parking for the cars on the drive) and enjoy some gelato. TBCR will provide members with a special coupon for two scoops of FROST Gelato to cool you, while waiting to applaud the victors!!! So, get those cars ready to take on the 100 at 100, get the family psyched to come see you finish and have some fun with TBCR. Ben From the 2015 100 at 100 You can do it!
