Field & Fork BENEFITING THE PARKLANDS OF FLOYDS FORK, A DONOR-SUPPORTED PUBLIC PARK September 9, 2017 Field & Fork was Named 2016 Best Outdoor Event by The Voice-Tribune! In its fifth year, Field & Fork has become not only the signature annual event at The Parklands of Floyds Fork, but one of Louisville s favorites. This unique fundraiser is hosted by and benefits The Parklands, one of the largest and most ambitious new urban parks in the nation operated by a nonprofit (and now fully open!). An evening under the stars at beautiful Brown-Forman Silo Center in Turkey Run Park is a real treat, celebrating philanthropy, food and music in authentic Kentucky style. The Parklands, a donor-supported public park, does not receive tax dollars to support annual operations. Field & Fork 2016 raised an incredible $375,000 in support of The Parklands Fund, which works each year to keep The Parklands clean, safe, fun, beautiful and accessible to all ages and abilities. Please join us in 2017! We hope you will join us for a fun evening and be a part of this year s success. In my role with Leadership Louisville I have the great pleasure of attending many events to support worthy organizations, but Field & Fork is a unique treat that stands out above the others. Maybe it's because of the glorious setting (no need to hang streamers in the ballroom, mother nature is chairing the décor committee) or it might be because it feels like just the right blend of southern charm and elegance done in an unpretentious way. The night is an authentic slice of Louisville culture with every detail featuring our best assets and traditions held in the company of people who care deeply about stewarding the assets of our community.
