Friday October 2, 2015 Total Calls for Service: 30 Motor Vehicle Theft 6500blk Brown Deer Rd Noteworthy Calls for the Day A 35 year old Milwaukee woman reported her vehicle was stolen from the Brown Deer Cleaners while it was running in the parking lot. The vehicle fled westbound on W. Brown Deer Rd and it was involved in an injury vehicle crash at N. 85 th Street and W. Brown Deer Rd. The suspect entered a Mitsubishi Galant and fled southbound on N. 91 st Street. The 35 year old woman s vehicle was brought back to our station for processing. A report was filed. Animal Complaint 9100blk Alpine Ln An unidentified caller reported a loose dog in the area. The dog was located in the 9100blk of Deer Ct and returned to the owner, a 41 year old female resident. She was advised of the dog at large ordinance. Motor Vehicle Theft 5675 Brown Deer Rd A 67 year old female resident reported a stolen vehicle from the parking lot. The vehicle was a 1998 Dodge Neon which was entered as stolen into NCIC/CIB. A report was filed. Controlled Substance 4525 Dean Rd An unidentified caller reported the smell of marijuana in the apartment building hallways. There was a smell in the vestibule area but nothing strong enough in any hallway to determine where it was coming from. Officers were unable to locate the source. Controlled Substance Walgreens Milwaukee Police Department reported (an unidentified caller to MPD) a possible drug transaction occurring in the Walgreen s parking lot. The area was checked and no such activity was observed. No additional information was provided to follow up on. Telephone Complaint 9000 Maura Ln A 70 year old Brown Deer woman reported harassing telephone calls from 1-800-347-9287 stating they needed additional information to process her online loan application but she never applied for a loan. She was advised to let them know she never applied for a loan and to check her credit through the credit bureaus.

Motor Vehicle Theft 4685 Bradley Rd A 28 year old Brown Deer man reported one of his work vans was stolen at about 8:45 AM. The vehicle, a white Dodge Caravan was entered into CIB/NCIC as stolen. A report was filed. Retail Theft TJ Maxx TJ Maxx reported a possible retail theft. The subjects left the store without any merchandise. Recovered Stolen Vehicle Brown Deer PD Milwaukee Police Department advised they were out with a vehicle which was stolen from Brown Deer. The vehicle was located in the 5000blk of N. 22 nd Street. The vehicle was towed back to the Brown Deer Police Department and placed on inventory. A report was filed. Burglary 8250 46 th St Brooklane Apartments Maintenance reported a kicked in apartment door. The tenant, a 22 year old female, was not home but responded while officers were on scene. A report was filed. Burglary 8250 46 th St While investigating another burglary, officers reported the apartment next door was also burglarized. The tenants, a 25 year old woman and a 23 year old man, responded to the residence while officers were on scene. A report was filed. Noise Complaint 4700blk Terry Ave An unidentified caller reported loud music from a house in the area. The noise was coming from a residence in the 4700blk of Terry Ave. The homeowner was advised about the noise. Neighbor Trouble 8600blk 53 rd St A 34 year old male resident reported his next door neighbor s kids were running in his yard. He requested officers make contact with his neighbors to inform them they were not welcome on his property. The 54 year old neighbor was advised. Entry to Vehicle 8700blk N 56 th St A 46 year old Brown Deer woman reported someone attempted to steal her 2005 red Dodge Caravan. She stated her vehicle was parked in her driveway and when she came outside her van was moved across the street with the hazard lights on. The passenger window was pried and the ignition cylinder was punched. The vehicle was processed for fingerprints at the scene and turned back over to the owner. A report was filed.

Suspicious Activity 9000blk Green Bay Rd An employee of the Milwaukee County Sheriff s Department called to report several black juvenile males walking between cars possibly attempting to enter the cars. Three subjects fled northbound on N. Deerwood Dr. A 17 year old Milwaukee male was arrested for Attempted Theft of a Motor Vehicle Party to a Crime. He was also the suspect in other motor vehicle thefts from earlier in the day. He was also in possession of an Apple ipod which he admitted was not his, but it was not entered into CIB/NCIC as stolen when queried. The 17 year old was booked, ordered into the Milwaukee County District Attorney s Office and transported to the Milwaukee County Criminal Justice Facility. A report was filed. Disturbance 8000 62 nd St An unidentified caller reported a group of juveniles kicking front doors of homes. The area was checked and officers were unable to locate any juveniles or damage. Entry to Vehicle 8700blk 56 th St An officer observed a 2002 Chrysler PT Cruiser which had been damaged in an attempted entry. The front passenger window was shattered. No entry was made to the vehicle and nothing was missing. The owner of the vehicle, a 65 year old Brown Deer woman, was advised. A report was filed. Theft Complaint 9500 Green Bay Rd A 53 year old male resident reported theft of his medication. He stated his diabetic medication was missing. It could not be substantiated a crime was committed. He was informed to keep his medication in a safe place. Saturday October 3, 2015 Total Calls for Service: 27 Domestic Violence 8700blk 68 th St Noteworthy Calls for the Day A 31 year old male resident reported he was involved in a physical altercation with his exgirlfriend, a 27 year old female resident. The ex-girlfriend had arrived at the house intoxicated and began striking the complainant in the head while he was sleeping. She was arrested for Disorderly Conduct Domestic Violence Related. She was unable to post bail and was transported to the Milwaukee County Criminal Justice Facility. The case will be reviewed by the Milwaukee County District Attorney s Office. A report was filed.

Theft Complaint 9000blk Green Bay Rd A 24 year old Mequon woman reported a strong-armed robbery. The incident was a theft as two male black suspects stole the complainant s wallet from a bench while she was trying on shoes. The suspects entered a black Honda Accord and fled eastbound on W. Brown Deer Rd. The vehicle is reported stolen through the Milwaukee Police Department. A report was filed. Fire Call - PD 9000blk Deerbrook Trl A rescue call for a subject with stomach pain was received. North Shore Fire Department responded. NSFD later requested an officer for a possible work place injury. The employee had bent over then stood up and bumped her head into a shelf. It did not appear the employee fell or lost consciousness. The NSFD reported no noticeable injury to the employee. The call was turned over to North Shore Fire Department. Hit and Run 6500blk Carolann Dr A 32 year old Milwaukee woman was in the lobby of the police department to report a hit and run. She stated last night between midnight and 1:00 AM, she was parked at her friend s house when her car was struck. She did not hear anything while she was inside the residence. She had her vehicle towed back to her address in the City of Milwaukee. She also did not take any pictures of the accident scene. She was given a self-reportable accident form. A report was filed. Retail Theft Kohl s Department Store Kohl s Department store reported a possible retail theft. There was not enough evidence to substantiate a retail theft. Disorderly Conduct 6500blk Brown Deer Rd A Laundry World employee reported a disorderly subject in the store. The employee did not wish to be a complainant and just wanted the subject to leave. A 29 year old Milwaukee man was advised regarding his conduct and was given a ride to a hotel in Glendale. Disorderly Conduct 4400blk Schroeder Dr An unidentified caller reported loud yelling and pounding coming from a room at the Holiday Inn. Contact was made with a 57 year old Strafford, MO woman who stated she was in a verbal argument with her boyfriend, a 56 year old Highlandville, MO man, who had left prior to officer s arrival. The female stated they were visiting his family and plan to head back to Missouri on 10/04/2015. The man was located in his pickup truck sleeping in the parking lot. The incident did not meet the criteria for a domestic violence incident. Both agreed to separate for the night to prevent further incidents.

Sunday October 4, 2015 Total Calls for Service: 26 Noteworthy Calls for the Day Assist Other Agency Requested 6200blk Silver Brook Ln A detective from the Racine County Sheriff s Department requested assistance with a search warrant regarding an investigation involving a 29 year old Brown Deer woman. Service was rendered. Hit and Run 5200blk Brown Deer Rd A 32 year old male from Montgomery, IL reported a hit and run. He stated sometime overnight someone struck the rear passenger side of his vehicle. A vehicle crash report and an incident report were filed. Chapter 51 Commitment 6200blk Silver Brook Ln During a search warrant with the Racine County Sheriff s Department, a 29 year old Brown Deer woman, became upset and made numerous statements about wanting to kill herself. She was subsequently taken into protective custody and transported to the Milwaukee County Mental Health Center. A report was filed. Property Damage 4200blk Cherrywood Cir A 68 year old Brown Deer resident reported someone damaged her vehicle overnight. Her vehicle, a 2014 Hyundai Sonata, had a liquid corrosive poured on her trunk which spilled down onto her bumper. The liquid corroded the paint off where it had been poured. The complainant had an automotive detailer estimate the damage at around $1200.00. She was unsure of who would have done this. She only wanted the incident noted. Suspicious Activity 6700blk Brown Deer Rd An unidentified caller reported ten juveniles entered the Pak Technologies building. The building was searched, no one was inside and there were no signs of any problems or damage. Animal Complaint 7800blk Sherman Blvd An unidentified caller reported her neighbor has a cat trapped in a cage in her backyard. The neighbor, a 64 year old woman, states she had feral cats damaging property in her backyard and she set the trap to turn them over to the Humane Society. She would be turning the cat over to the Humane Society on 10/05/2015. The cat had shelter, food and water and did not appear to be in distress.

Retail Theft Walmart Walmart loss prevention reported a retail theft in progress. A 45 year old Milwaukee woman was arrested for stealing women s shoes and men s undershirts. She was cited for retail theft on scene and released. A report was filed. Recovered Stolen Vehicle Brown Deer Police Department Milwaukee Police Department reported they were out with a vehicle listed as stolen through our department in the 3900blk of Florist Ave. A white Dodge Caravan was recovered on scene. The vehicle was transported back to the Brown Deer Police Department for evidence processing. A report was filed. Soliciting Complaint Family Table Family Table staff reported a female subject asking customers for money. A Family Table employee stated the suspect left the area but had struck her on the arm as she was escorting the subject out. The employee did not wish to be a complainant. Soliciting Complaint Pick n Save An unidentified caller reported four subjects asking for money in the Pick n Save parking lot. The subjects left the area prior to officer s arrival. Noise Complaint 5650 Wahner Ave An unidentified caller reported loud music coming from an apartment. The tenant of that apartment, a 35 year old man, stated he had not been playing music and had only been watching TV. He was advised of the complaint and informed of the Village Ordinance on loud noise. Disorderly Conduct 8000blk 60 th St An unidentified caller reported a male dragging a female out of a car and the male then left northbound on N. 60 th Street in a grey BMW with an unknown license plate. There was no further information available. The area was checked and the vehicle was gone on arrival. Disorderly Conduct YMCA YMCA staff reported several subjects had snuck into the building and were refusing to leave. All subjects left prior to officer s arrival and the YMCA did not wish to pursue the matter further. Controlled Substance 4525 Dean Rd An unidentified caller reported several subjects smoking marijuana at the back door of the apartment building. The subjects were gone on arrival.

Disorderly Conduct Burlington Coat Factory An employee from Burlington Coat Factory reported a female subject refusing to leave and causing a scene in the store. Contact was made with a 24 year old Milwaukee woman who was upset because of a misunderstanding between her and loss prevention. She agreed to leave the store. The manager only wanted the 24 year old woman to leave the store and did not wish to be a complainant for disorderly conduct. Family Trouble 4000blk Rivers Edge Cir An unidentified caller reported someone yelling and a girl crying in an apartment. Contact was made with a 39 year old female resident and her two young daughters. There was no argument and she was warned about the loud noise the girls were making while playing. Traffic Stop 8000blk Sherman Blvd An officer conducted a traffic stop and had contact with the driver, a 42 year old Milwaukee woman, who was looking for Rogers Memorial Hospital. She was hearing voices but did not meet the requirements for an emergency detention. The woman s mother, a 65 year old Milwaukee woman, arrived on scene and transported the 42 year old to Rogers Memorial where she refused to speak with the staff. The daughter agreed to return home with her mother, and both were given information about counseling services.
