Gratuity Policy MSC applies an amount of Euro 6.00 per adult passenger per day and EUR 3.00 per child per day to all onboard accounts to cover all the service personnel. In most public rooms the starboard side (right side looking forward) is the non-smoking area. Note that smoking is definitely not permitted in the restaurants, theatre or elevators. It is now designated policy that smoking should not take place in the cabins or on the balconies.
