KIM HARRIS - MODERATOR Director of Business Development & Sales AVIATION SPECIALTIES UNLIMITED kharris@asu-nvg.com His military NVG experience began with the U.S. Army in 1979 with the PVS-5 full-face goggles and cumulated in 2004 as an AH-64 Apache instructor pilot flying with Night Vision Goggles and the PNVS system. He began fighting fire in Wyoming and Montana in 1984. In addition to firefighting, NVG experience has spanned air charter, HEMS air ambulance, law enforcement and SAR operations, including NVG instruction and checking in all of those areas. In support of ASU, he has conducted NVG evaluations of aircraft, white phosphor NVGs, NVG accessories, and participated in the development of a new lightweight NVG. MR. Well experienced in tactical and NVIS flight, I ve been in charge of training pilots for CSAR mission, Medevac in hostile environment. Joined the civilian aviation world in 2008, after few years in Off-Shore in foreign countries, I ve been assigned in HEMS flight operations while experiencing TRI-TRE duties on both A139 and H145. Since 2015 I ve being in charge of developing, instructing NVIS doctrine for night HEMS bases in Italy as Company NVIS project leader. Currently I m training 139 and h145 pilots for NVIS basic and advanced operations at night such as search, hoist ops while developing Sops and cooperation with medical and rescue staff all over from north to south of the country.

BJARTE TEIGEN Chief of Office of Airworthiness AIRLIFT AS Bjarte.Teigen@airlift.no Bjarte started his aviation career in the Royal Norwegian Air Force in 1981 working mainly with F-16 fighter aircraft and joined the rotary wing community in 1991. Bjarte has since then performed a large number of various modifications and certifications of many helicopter types and participated in the first civil NVIS modification in Norway in 1999 (AS332L1 Super Puma). Currently Bjarte holds the position as Chief of Office of Airworthiness in Airlift AS, Norway and has since EASA Part-21 DOA approval in 2007, performed many helicopter NVIS certifications as design engineer, flight test engineer and certification verification engineer (CVE) MR. MARCO PACAGNELLA Technical Manager (CAMO/Part-145) and Head of Design Organisation (DOA) AIRLIFT AS marco.pacagnella@airlift.no Marco has 10 years experience in EASA Part-21 NVIS modifications and certifications as design engineer, flight test engineer as well as certification verification engineer (CVE) on different types of helicopters such as Super Puma Mk1, AW139, Dauphin and EC145/H145.
