APOLOGIES His Worship the Mayor, Mr T R Shadbolt and Cr D J Ludlow. Moved Cr Biddle, seconded Cr Crackett and RESOLVED that the apologies be received. 2. MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF THE EVENTS COMMITTEE HELD ON 7 DECEMBER 2017 Moved Cr Biddle, seconded Cr Crackett and RESOLVED that the minutes be received as a true and correct record. 3. MATTERS ARISING Nil. 4. FINANCIAL UPDATE The financial report had been circulated. Cr Crackett said the great thing about the financial update was it was indicative of the decisions which had been made in the past and was a good reminder to see where the funding was at. Cr Lewis said there was a reasonable carry forward at this stage. Cr Biddle asked about the transfer from the Civic Events fund and Mr King said he believed the Civic Theatre had this set aside for events and they decided it was best to come to the Events Committee and was a one off. He would check on this. Moved Cr Biddle, seconded Cr Lewis and RESOLVED that the Financial Update be received. 4
