If you are able to assist in the planning stages, please contact Tammi in the office or speak with any of the Fundraiser Committee members. A planning meeting will be held (date & time to be announced) and a sign up sheet will be posted, indicating areas volunteers are needed. Please be sure to sign up, helping to ensure this year s Fall Supper continues to be a success. Folklorama Folklorama VIP Tour With our tour dates quickly approaching, here are a few reminders to help make our trip run smoothly. 1. Ensure all payments have been made to the office. 2. Confirm with Tammi which tour date you have been booked on. 3. The bus will be leaving the Senior Scene parking lot at 4:00pm (please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to departure) Week # 1 - Wednesday, August 9th or Friday, August 11th - United Kingdom (England, Northern Ireland, Scotland & Wales) - Spain Pavilion - Spirit of Ukraine Pavilion Week # 2 - Wednesday, August 16th - Indo China Pavilion - Romanian Pavilion - Brazil Pavilion Approx. 6:00pm - Approx. 8:15pm - Approx. 9:45pm - 1 st Pavilion includes an appetizer, cultural alcoholic beverage and a guided cultural tour. 2 nd Pavilion includes a meal and domestic alcoholic beverage. 3 rd Pavilion includes dessert and a non-alcoholic beverage. We are scheduled to arrive back at the Senior Scene at approx. 1:00am Get ready to be treated to world class entertainment at the 48th Annual Folklorama Festival!!

Coming this Fall.. Hermetic Code Tour: Have you ever wondered why the MB Legislative Building has sphinxes on the roof? Do you know the true identity of the Golden Boy? Join Dr. Frank Albo, academic inspiration behind The Hermetic Code, for an unforgettable tour of magic, mystery and architectural wonder. Tentatively scheduled for Wednesday, October 11th Cost: $50 per person (includes transportation, tour, and a brief stop at Club Regent Casino for dinner & games. Manitoba Coin Collectors Learn more about the Manitoba Coin Collectors Club, & study, acquisition and exhibition of numismatic materials. The Manitoba Coin Club was founded in 1954, and became a Charter Member of the Canadian Numismatic Association in 1955. We are one of the oldest coin clubs in Western Canada. Tentatively scheduled for September 2017 - watch for information poster & sign-up sheets. Karaoke/Open Mic Night Brooke is coming back for another night of music to host our 3rd Karaoke/Open mic night. Join in, whether you play a musical instrument, sing individually or with a group, or just want to come out and watch. Challenge yourself or your friends!! Celebrations Dinner Theatre Matinee - Bewitching Elvis One day, Samantha decides to organize a surprise birthday party for her dear friend Eleanor but she is determined to not use magic. Sam knows that her friend has always been a big fan of Elvis, so she hires an impersonator for the party. However, when Endora drops in unexpectedly and meets the impersonator, she is not very impressed.
