Indoor suites available for groups as small as 4 up to 100 and outdoor space for over 500. For special occasions, such as a wedding ceremonies, receptions, birthday celebrations, prestigious corporate evenings or charity events, the Moorland Hotel can offer you exclusive access with flexibility. DIRECTIONS... GETTING YOU ALL HERE Moorland Hotel is approximately 15 minutes from the centre of Newton Abbot continuing along the A38, past Trago Mills and out towards Heathfield and Bovey Tracey. The hotel itself is situated directly opposite Haytor. After Exeter the road divides, take the right hand fork in the direction of Plymouth and after about eleven miles take the exit indicating Newton Abbot, Bovey Tracey and Moretonhampsted. Take the fourth turning off the roundabout (second turning if coming from Plymouth) towards Bovey Tracey and Heathfield Industrial Estate. Follow the road for approximately one mile where you shall meet a roundabout, taking the second exit onto A382, carry along this road for 4 miles you will reach a third and final roundabout, taking the first exit at this roundabout onto the B3387, 500 yards past the Dartmoor National Parke the road will split, taking the left turning and continuing along this road for 3 miles passing Ullacombe farm along the way. The hotel is then located on your left hand side directly opposite Haytor itself. We recommend that you do not use satellite navigation systems after leaving the A38 as they tend to take you the most direct route and through very narrow lanes. The hotel is also on an unmarked road which can lead to some mistakes. Please try to trust our directions or call us on 01364 661407 should you find yourself lost.
