The driver of the car, Steven Louthan, stated he left his house as he and his wife were involved in a verbal disagreement. Contact was made with the wife, Dana Louthan, who stated she and Mr. Louthan were engaged in a verbal disagreement over bills. K9 Champ alerted to the presence of the odor of narcotics in the vehicle. Subsequent investigation revealed the white male driver to be in possession of approximately a quarter pound of marijuana and prescription pills. Upon arrival, I was informed by medical staff that the individual trapped under their tractor was pronounced deceased. Subsequent investigation revealed the white male driver to be in possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. Bond was set at $25,000 10% cash only and a court date of 01/19/2017 at 0900 hours was given. 12/11/16 10:15 2501 MECHANIC ST, HARRISONVILLE On 12-11-16 at approximately 1015 hours I made contact with Eric Mills in the front lobby of the Sheriff's Office in reference to a follow up. Mr. Mills was taken into custody for Cass County warrant 16CAFTA1234 for failure to appear on a traffic charge. Mr. Mills was escorted to the Cass County Jail for processing. 12/11/16 10:59 211TH/SICKLEBAR DR, On December 11, 2016 I conducted an investigative vehicle stop in the area of 211th Street and Sicklebar Drive rural Peculiar, Missouri of a vehicle that had an obstructed license plate. Mr. Jacob Flippin was placed into custody for felony driving while revoked. Mr. Benjamin Hemenway was placed in custody for felony Cass County narcotics warrants. Narcotics were located in the vehicle during this investigation. Bond was set at $4,000.00, 10% cash or surety, and a court date of 12/20/2016 at 0900 hours was given. 12/11/16 14:56 40206 251ST ST, EAST LYNNE On 12-11-16 at approximately 1519 hours I responded to 40206 E 251st Street outside of Gunn City, MO in reference to a residential burglary. Upon arrival I contacted Wendy and Robert Nicholson who stated someone had burglarized their residence. One suspect was identified.

Brian Elliott stated someone had damaged the steering column and wiring to a vehicle he had displayed by the roadway for sale. No suspects have been identified. 12/11/16 17:23 TWIN OAKS APARTMENT, HARRISONVILLE 12/11/16 18:05 19306 SHIMEL RD, STRASBURG On Sunday December 11, 2016 at approximately 1845 hours, I responded to 19306 S Shimel road. In reference to a domestic disturbance. The male party was locked outside the residence. I spoke to the female party inside. Both parties told me that the disturbance was verbal in nature and nothing physical took place. The male party left the residence for the evening. 12/11/16 22:30 100 MUNICIPAL CIR, RAYMORE On December 12, 2016, I was dispatched to the Raymore Police Department for a prisoner transfer. Upon arrival, one subject was taken into custody on an active Cass County warrant and transported to the jail.
