1 INTRODUCTION This report summarises the activities carried out by the Management Committee and the Secretariat, Krakow University of Technology for the CIVINET Poland Network over 1 January to 31 December 2014. It has been prepared by the Secretariat on behalf of the Management Committee. 2 GENERAL INFORMATION ABOUT THE NETWORK 2.1 Terms of Reference The Terms of Reference (ToR) for the CIVINET Poland were revised in March 2014 based on a template provided via the CAPITAL project. They were send to the Management Committee on December 2014 (after translation) and will be adopted at the next Annual General Meeting on September 2015. 2.2 Support funding Initially launched in May 2014, the CIVINET Poland network receives support funding from the European Commission, via the CIVITAS CAPITAL project from 1 September 2013 to 31 August 2016. The network is open to obtaining external funds. Two workshops were organized (Warsaw and Sopot), where the costs of the conference room were fully covered by the City of Warsaw and the private company PBS. The next meetings will be planned in the same way with external parties covering rooms or catering. 2.3 Fee structure According to the decision of the Management Committee until September 2016 there are no Subscription Fees. 3

2.4 Membership By the end of 2014, there were eight members of the CIVINET Poland Network, listed as follows: City of Gdansk City of Krakow City of Biala Podlaska NGO Environmental Partnership Foundation City of Gdynia City of Szczecin Krakow University of Technology NGO SISKOM Warsaw 2.5 Financial administration CIVINET Poland does not require any fee both for the membership and for participating workshops and events organized by the Network, until September 2016. 2.6 Management Committee The National Network Manager of the Network is the City of Gdansk. The Secretariat of the Network is represented by Krakow University of Technology. The Management Board is composed of one representative from City of Gdynia and one from the City of Krakow. In 2014 there were two meetings of the MC in parallel to other events: On 11 September in Gdansk in parallel to Mobility Congress Annual General Meeting on 24 October in Gdynia in parallel to CiViTAS Mimosa workshops, where: it was decided that one cycling workshop will be organized in November; other major topics were chosen for CIVINET thematic workshops; Mr. MC was approved; and CIVINET was presented to guests from City of Warsaw, Gdansk University and Lodz Marshall Office. 2.7 Political Committee So far there is no Political Committee. It will be launched in the first quarter of 2015. 4

2.8 Links with other bodies 2.8.1 National government There was no link with the national government in 2014. 2.8.2 Other national networks and regional bodies There was cooperation with SISKOM - Transport Association from Warsaw. 2.8.3 Other national networks and regional bodies There was not link with the regional bodies in 2014. 2.8.4 CIVITAS and other European initiatives A CIVINET Secretariat representative presented at a CIVINET UK & Ireland workshop in London on 2 September. 3 DISSEMINATION AND OUTREACH 3.1 Sustainable mobility events programme Four events were organised in 2014 by the CIVINET Poland Network, within which two workshops in Warsaw and Sopot, respectively about CarSharing and Cycling. A large number of participants was present, 43 delegates for the first and 61 for the second one. 5

3.2 Third party events CIVINET Poland was present at six third party events. Half of the time a speaker was present. 3.3 Website and social media 3.3.1 CIVITAS website In 2014, the CIVINET Poland subpage was updated with the latest information on the Network, including a new list of members, updated contact persons, instructions to join the network, news on the CIVINET s launch events and any other relevant information. One paper article was also published after a cycling workshop in November. Both articles were in the largest Polish newspapers, but in local supplements. 4 SUMMARY OF 2014 ACTIVITIES 4.1 Impact 2014 was fully dedicated to launch the CIVINET Poland network and eight members had joined by the end of the year. The core partners from City of Gdansk, Gdynia and Krakow gave significant support to the MC. 4.2 Challenge The main challenge of the Network activities in 2014 was to organize a network, including preparation of ToR, the first signed declarations from launch cities and a road map for 2015. 9

5 NEW ANNUAL ACTIVITY AND BUSINESS PLAN An Annual Activity and Business Plan for 2015 was prepared, based on a template provided via the CAPITAL project. This was approved by the Management Committee on October 2014, and will be adopted at the next Annual General Meeting, to be held on September 2015, in the City of Krakow, Poland. 10
