Fun in Brum May Half Term 24th May - 1st June 2014 Produced by the Children's Information and Advice Service

Fun in Brum Welcome to the latest edition of Fun In Brum produced by the Children's Information and Advice Service. We hope you find the information useful. There are loads of exciting things to do for all the family and some of them are totally free. We have added contact details of Birmingham Libraries which often run activities during school holidays. The activities are listed in date order. Fun for All This edition contains a wide range of activities including some for disabled children and young people up to the age of 19 in some cases. When we have been told that an activity or event is inclusive we have added the following text - If your child or young person has a disability, please call the organisation for further information. Whilst we have been assured these activities are inclusive we would always recommend that you call ahead to discuss your child s needs to ensure they are able to meet them. Please note that some activities are only available to children and young people living in specific areas. Please contact activity organisers to check availability.

Safeguarding Statement This list of events has been compiled by the Children's Information and Advice Service for information only. It is up to the parent/carer to decide what is most appropriate for their child. Please note that the events listed in this booklet are organised by third parties and neither the Children's Information and Advice Service or Birmingham City Council take responsibility if any of these events are cancelled or changed. Please note the information has been gathered to support parents/carers in accessing activities for children and that Birmingham City Council does not in any way recommend or endorse any of the organisations other than services directly delivered by the council. It is the responsibility of parents/carers to carry out their own checks and to feel completely satisfied with the safety of their child and the quality of the service offered. Page 3 of 21
