General Information This is a special tourist pass that needs to be bought by yourself which is valid for 5 days and all zones within Paris Two different steps: Buy the pass (5 ) Charge the pass with funds for all zones (22,80 ) ZONES NAVIGO WEEKLY All zones 22,80 Zone 2-3 20,85 Zone 3-4 20,20 Zone 4-5 19,85 Can not be bought in advance You have to purchase the pass on your own as you need to provide a passport picture (3 x 2,5 cm) Unlimited travel with Metro, RER, Bus, Tram, Funiculaire The validity period starts at 00:00 on the first day of the period and ends at 23:59 on the last day (Monday - Sunday) No personal data collection Selectable between zone 1-5 CDG Airport (Zone 5) Orly Airport (Zone 4) Gare de l Est, Gare de Lyon, Gare du Nord (Zone 1) Cost per weekly pass for all zones: 27,80 (including funds) Additional information The Pass Decouverte does not cover the OrlyVal that links the airport to the suburban train RER B starting in Anthony station You can take the OrlyBus that will bring you to Paris city Centre (Denfert Rochereau station) from where you can take the metro to reach your destination Important Each pass must include your name and your photo ID. You risk a fine if your pass is checked and found not to have valid photo ID Attach your ID photo to the white rectangle, fold the paper around the pass and place it inside the holder Cost = 5 per pass Each card must be additionally charged with funds Page 2 of 5
General Information Where to buy a Navigo Découverte Pass You can buy one at staffed counters only, but please be aware that queues are quite likely You can purchase one at any Tabac (tobacco shop) or similar where you see a green RATP sign it will either be displayed on the door or as an exterior sign (as per photo example) Gare du Nord: in Level -1 where you have all the metro departures Gare de Lyon: in Level -1 where you have all the metro departures Gare de l Est: There is a selling point between Platform 16 and 17 with the mention Tickets Paris et ile de France CDG: Either at Terminal 2E or Terminal 3, where you have the train station for RER trains to Paris At airports/train station, you need to follow the sign M (metro) or Train to Paris at CDG or Orlybus at Orly. There, you will find the RATP (Regional) or SNCF (National) selling point Page 3 of 5
Purchase Process How to charge your Navigo Découverte with funds 1 Buy Navigo Découverte pass 2 Find a machine «Rechargement Navigo» in any Paris Metro station 3 4 Touch the screen to choose your language Place your Navigo pass on the purple display area / touch pad below the screen 5 Select weekly pass 6 Select zone 1-5 Page 4 of 5
Purchase Process 7 Insert your bank card into the card slot below the screen and to the right of the purple pass touch pad 8 Enter your pin-code on the card machine keypad 9 Select «yes» to receive a receipt 10 Wait while your pass is being loaded with funds and the receipt is being printed. DO NOT REMOVE YOUR PASS FROM THE TOUCH PAD until you see a confirmation message which tells you your pass is loaded otherwise the transaction and the process will be interrupted and stopped 11 Your card will be ready once you see the confirmation message on screen your pass is now loaded 12 Use your card Page 5 of 5
