DETAILED ITINERARY DAY 1: Transfer Baltra Airport Santa Cruz Highlands - Lava Tunnels - Charles Darwin Station Our guide will meet you at the Baltra airport to transfer you by public bus to the dock of Itabaca, (since July 2017) you must pay USD 5 directly in the place, after crossing the channel by ferry, we will take the private transport that we will drive to the hotel in Puerto Ayora. We will have a navigation of 1 hour and 50 minutes to the island. We will make wet landing on a beautiful white sand beach. There we will find one of the most representative colonies of playful sea lions, endemic terrestrial iguanas of the island, marine iguanas, and variety of Darwin finches, mockingbirds, occasional Hawks and a beautiful opuntia forest categorizing it as one of the highest in Galapagos. Then we will return board. The main attraction of the island is the pinnacle, which is an erosion of a tuff-shaped volcanic cone.
