membership basics what are pure points? Pure Points are your currency in the Divi Vacation Club you use your Points to book your travel. Kick off your vacation fun with Pure Points. Each time you travel, you use only the amount of Points needed for your trip. This is determined based on the time of year, destination, size of accommodations and length of stay. Pure Points are issued annually or biennially during the term of your Club Membership and are used to make reservations at participating destinations.* Best of all, you can never have too many or too few Pure Points! You always have the ability to purchase more Points, bank Points for the coming years and borrow or rent Points for this year s travel. *Members with biennial usage are issued Points every other year during the term of their Club Membership. For more about borrowing, banking & renting Points, please see pages 20-22. 11

learning to read a points chart Let s say you want to travel to Divi Village Golf & Beach Resort this year with your children. You want to have plenty of space, so a twobedroom suite is perfect for you! Now you need to decide when you want to travel, so you use the resort s Points Chart to determine how many Pure Points your vacation will require. For this example, let s say you want to travel during your children s summer break, and week 30 works well with your family s schedule. This time of year is in High Season, so you will use 68,000 Pure Points to take this vacation. Planning your Pure Points vacation is easy with our Points Charts. membership basics step 1: how to access club information The most up-to-date club information can be accessed anytime through your exclusive Member Site at www.divivacationclub.com by clicking Login. If this is your first time logging in, you will be asked to create a personal login ID and password. From there, you can explore everything you need to know about your Membership. Always log in to this Member Site before making any online club transactions. to set up your member site login ID and password, follow these steps: To Register Go to www.divivacationclub.com and click Login. Select Register Today to be directed to the registration page. Enter your Divi Vacation Club contract number and the name of the contract owner or eligible user. Enter your first name, last name, address, telephone number, email address and create a password. Re-enter the password in the Verify Password field. If you would like to receive email offers and club news, click Yes. For Account Type, select Divi Vacation Club Member. To finalize, click the Submit button. To Log In Go to www.divivacationclub.com and click Login. Enter your established email and password. For Account Type, select Divi Vacation Club Member. Click Log In. Forgot or Lost Your Password? membership basics making a reservation using pure points Your Pure Points are issued annually or biennially during the term of your Club Membership.* They are your currency for booking reservations in the Divi Vacation Club. The Use Year for all Members begins January 1 st and ends December 31 st. During this 12-month period, you may reserve accommodations at any participating Divi Club Destination, or use the Divi Exchange Network to make reservations at a variety of worldwide destinations. To make a reservation at a Divi Club Destination, follow the instructions on page 18 or visit www.divivacationclub.com. *Members with biennial usage are issued Points every other year during the term of their Club Membership. pure points reservation booking windows for divi vacation club destinations For 7-night minimum reservations: Book a 7-night minimum stay at any Club Destination up to 480 days - 1 day prior to reservation check-in, depending on your level of Club Loyalty Benefits. For partial or nightly stay reservations: Book a partial or nightly stay at any Club Destination from 120 days - 1 day prior to reservation check-in. When making a reservation less than 365 days prior to check-in: Only members in good standing may make reservations, so please make sure all of your fees are paid before you try to book a reservation. When making a reservation more than 365 days prior to check-in: You will have the option to to pre-pay annual Club Dues and Club Operating Fees at the time of reservation, or you may choose to wait until annual invoices are issued (typically in October). to make a pure points reservation at any participating divi club destination, simply follow these 3 steps! 1Get Ready Go to www.divivacationclub.com, log in to your Member Site and go to Making a Reservation. Log in to your Personal Account (please make sure you have established a Personal Account Login see page 15). 2Get Set Make sure you are in the "Member Options" tab. If you have multiple contracts, select the one you wish to use. Under What do you want to do, use the drop-down box to select Make a Club Reservation and click "Go." Select when you want to travel, how many people are traveling, the number of nights you wish to stay and the resort you would like to visit, and click "Search." Your search result will display the available resort(s) with travel dates, room types and total Points cost. Make your choice and click "Select." Next, review your reservation information, fill out any special service requests and complete payment information, should transaction fees apply. Review your transaction details and confirm if you wish to receive an email with this information. To finalize, check the Terms and Conditions box and click Confirm. Once your transaction is complete, you will receive a reservation number (you can print this page). 18 3Go! Once your reservation has been confirmed, you re ready to travel. Enjoy an exciting getaway where you ll create lifelong memories. *Reservations cannot be modified or cancelled online. Please call a Vacation Specialist to modify or cancel your reservation. membership basics reservations fast facts: The sooner you book a reservation, the better, so make sure you are familiar with your reservation booking window. For details, see the chart on page 17. When making a reservation less than 5 days prior to check-in, please contact a Vacation Specialist. If you need help selecting a Divi Club Destination, you can review resort details (room types, resort amenities, area attractions, photos) and nightly Points rates before you make your reservation. For reservation or other transaction payments, you can use the credit card on file or add a new credit card. Your reservation will be confirmed via email, so make sure the correct email address is on file. Reservation modifications or cancellations cannot be completed online. If you need to modify or cancel your reservation, please contact a Vacation Specialist. Please see page 69 for information on reservation fees. If a member fails to check in on the first day of their reservation, they must notify the resort they are traveling to or risk reservation cancellation, without restoration of Points. Points penalties and fees may be applied to cancellations. For details, see the chart on page 69. Your travel and check-in dates will automatically appear in the Make a Reservation window. Enter 7 nights and click "Search." Review your reservation information, fill out any special service requests and complete payment information, should transaction fees apply. Check the Terms and Conditions box and click Select. Review your transaction details and confirm if you wish to receive an email with this information. To finalize, click Confirm. Once your transaction is complete, you will receive a reservation number (you can print this page). 19

banking pure points Even if you can t take your yearly vacation, your Points won t go to waste! You can bank all or a portion of your unused Pure Points to travel in the next calendar year, which allows you to use leftover Points for an even better vacation next year! As a reminder, the Use Year for all members begins January 1 st and ends December 31 st. banking fast facts: You can bank your Pure Points anytime. Go to www.divivacationclub.com, log in to your Member Site and go to Banking, Borrowing & More. Under Banking Pure Points, click on Bank Pure Points Now. Log in to your Personal Account (please make sure you have established a Personal Account Login see page 15). Make sure you are in the "Member Options" tab. If you have multiple contracts, select the one you wish to use to bank your Points. Under What do you want to do, use the drop-down box to select Bank My Points and click "Go." Select your Use Period to bank from and select your Use Period to bank into. Enter the amount of Pure Points you wish to bank. Complete the payment information, should transaction fees apply, check the "Terms and Conditions" box and click "Continue" to complete your banking transaction. The deadlines for banking your Pure Points vary based on your Membership level. Banking deadlines are as follows: If you are a Silver Club Member, you may bank 100% of your Points 120 days prior to the Use Year end date and 75% of your Points 90 days prior to the Use Year end date. If you are a Platinum or President s Elite Club Member, you may bank 100% of your Points 60 days prior to the Use Year end date and 75% of your Points 30 days prior to the Use Year end date. If you miss your Points banking deadline, any remaining Points can be used to make reservations at a Divi Club Destination for travel within the current Use Year or to make reservations through the Divi Exchange Network for travel in the next Use Year. Once banked, Points cannot be un-banked. Banked Points must be used during the next calendar year. If you are a Biennial Member*, your banked Points will be applied to the next calendar year. Therefore, these banked Points may only be used for travel outside of your normal Use Year. Only Members in good standing may bank Points, so please make sure all of your fees are paid before you try to bank Points. borrowing pure points Want to plan a longer stay? How about booking a suite and inviting friends to join in the fun? Or perhaps you want to celebrate your special occasion with a luxurious getaway? You can! If you find that the trip you re planning requires more Pure Points than you currently own, you have the option to borrow all or a portion of your Points from the next Use Year to fulfill the vacation of your dreams. borrowing fast facts: membership basics Before borrowing Pure Points, you must create your desired reservation (follow the steps on page 18). If you do not have enough Pure Points to complete the transaction, you will be prompted to Borrow or Rent more Points. You must use all of your Pure Points from the applicable year before borrowing from your next Use Year. Once you have selected the Use Year, you will see the amount of Pure Points you need to borrow. Click "Continue" to proceed with your reservation. Complete any payment information, should transaction fees apply, check the "Terms and Conditions" box and click "Continue" to proceed with your reservation. Points can only be borrowed to complete a reservation. You may borrow up to 100% of your next Use Year s Points. Points Prime Members may borrow Points to complete a transaction by selecting the appropriate Use Year. Once selected, you will be prompted to relinquish your home week rights. Only Members in good standing may make reservations, so if you make a reservation less than 365 days prior to check-in, please make sure all of your fees are paid before you try to book. renting pure points Need more Points for this year s getaway? You have the option to rent additional Pure Points to complete your reservation, giving you the opportunity to enhance your vacation without having to borrow from next year s Point balance. renting fast facts: Before renting Pure Points, you must create your desired reservation (follow the steps on page 18). If you do not have enough Pure Points to complete the transaction, you will be prompted to Borrow or Rent more Points. The cost of renting Pure Points is $.04 per Point. You may rent as many Pure Points as you need to complete your transaction, up to your annual allotment. If you choose to rent Points, the total needed and the cost will be displayed. Complete any payment information, should transaction fees apply, check the "Terms and Conditions" box and click "Continue" to proceed with your reservation. Rented Points are non-refundable. If you need to cancel a reservation made with rented Points, these Points will remain in your account until their expiration date, and may be used toward a new reservation during that time. Expiration dates are as follows: Silver or Gold Club Members - 300 days after the date of purchase. Platinum Club Members - 390 days after the date of purchase. President s Elite Club Members - 480 days after the date of purchase. Go to www.divivacationclub.com, log in to your Member Site and go to Payments & History. Click on the Update & View Your Member Profile link and log in to your Personal Account (please make sure you have established a Personal Account Login see page 15). Select the Member Profile tab. In this section, you can establish, review and update your contact and billing information, and confirm or reset your Personal Account password. Please remember to send any changes to memberrelations@divivacationclub.com. Always click on the Save My Changes button to make sure your changes are saved. information fast facts: Please check your Member Profile twice a year to ensure it s up-to-date. To review your contracts, transaction history or available Pure Points balance, go to your Personal Member History. personal history It s easy to view your Personal Member History to get your Pure Points balance and keep track of your account. You can update your personal history anytime. Go to www.divivacationclub.com, log in to your Member Site and go to Payments & History. Click the Update & View Your Personal Member History link and log in to your Personal Account (please make sure you have established a Personal Account Login see page 15). membership basics transferring pure points If you have friends and family who are Members in the Divi Vacation Club, and you have extra Pure Points, you can transfer your extra Points into their accounts to expand their vacation opportunities. Transferring Points is an easy way to help these Members create lasting memories, or even join your tropical getaway! transferring fast facts: You may transfer your Points to another Divi Vacation Club Member once a year. All Points transferred are subject to a transfer fee. Only Members in good standing may transfer Points, so make sure all of your fees are paid before calling a Vacation Specialist. divi s send a friend program Our Send a Friend Program lets you give the of gift of travel with a stay at a Divi Club Destination. All you need to do is make a reservation in their name at the Divi Club Destination of their choosing using your Pure Points and then send the lucky travelers on their way! send a friend fast facts: To transfer Points or use the Send a Friend Program, please call a Vacation Specialist at 1-888-GO1-DIVI (461-3484) (Toll-free) or 1-305-925-3063 (International). These transactions cannot be completed online. To make a reservation for friends or family using your Pure Points, make sure you specify who will be traveling in your place. Only the person whose name is on the reservation may check in. The Send a Friend Program may be subject to fees.
