WELCOME TO CROFT FARM Croft Farm was bought by the Newell family back in the 1960s as a vegetable holding and in the 1970s was developed as a sand and gravel quarry. Part of the restoration programme involved the construction of a lake and in 1986 planning permission was granted for a watersports lake and a small touring caravan park. Since then the Park has gradually evolved and developed. The lodge development has been considered for several years but now the time is right to raise the bar and upgrade to give an opportunity for guests to have a year-round experience and enjoy the freedom of getting away whenever they want. With the quality of lodges now available, the more traditionally quieter times of the year can be enjoyed in complete comfort. The lodge site is well above the floodplain and has views across the lake towards the church at Twyning and beyond to the Malvern Hills. GO EXPLORE We really are spoilt for choice with Croft Farm being located close to so many visitor attractions and beautiful countryside, yet also close to the motorway network. The medieval town of Tewkesbury is just a couple of miles away and is famous for its Norman Abbey and the annual re-enactment of the Battle of Tewkesbury held in July each year. There is a wide choice of places to eat from country pubs and cosy cafes along with several Italian, Indian, Chinese and Thai restaurants. Croft Farm is situated in the Parish of Bredon and there are great walks to be enjoyed on Bredon Hill with views over the Vale of Evesham and across to the Cotswolds. A little further afield are the Malvern Hills and the Royal Forest of Dean. OUR FANTASTIC PARK FACILITIES The central feature at Croft Farm Water Park is our lake, which is used for many different watersports including windsurfing, sailing, kayaking and canoeing. Tuition and hire are available throughout the main season and there is also a conference and party room for hire. The River Avon may be used for canoe and kayak trips and there is also free fishing. The log cabin club house is a great meeting place for family and friends, a relaxed atmosphere with the café serving food throughout the day at weekends. The bar stocks a range of reasonably priced beers and wines and live entertainment features most weekends. There is plenty of room to relax on the decking directly overlooking the lake which provides an ever-changing scene of activity. Our health and fitness centre caters for locals and visitors alike and has some of the best cardiovascular equipment available. Plus, those wanting more of a weights based fitness programme have their own dedicated area. We have a personal trainer on site to give you the motivation but if it is all too much then you can relax in the sauna! Q: You are open for 12 months of the year, does that mean I can live in the Lodge? A: Our Lodges are for holiday use only. You can come and go as often as you want, but they can t be your main residence. Q: Are we restricted to when we can arrive on park to use the lodge and do we need to report in on arrival? A: As an owner, you can come and go as you wish. You have your own keys and access to the development, so you have complete flexibility. Q: Can we invite family and friends to our lodge? A: Of course, a lodge is the perfect way to bring the family together. Croft Farm has something for everyone and we would love you to invite friends and family to spend time with us. Q: Are there options for the number of bedrooms and can we alter the layout of the lodges? A: Yes, there are options on everything. We keep homes in stock that are popular with customers. If you want specific layouts or design you can have a bespoke lodge built to your requirements. Q: What costs do I need to consider when purchasing a holiday home?
