Delegates The BASO conference programme is designed to be of interest to surgeons from many specialties and to reflect the key role of surgeons in the treatment of cancers. Other delegates include oncologists, SAS doctors, trainees, radiologist, researchers, nurse specialists, etc. with a specific interest in the scientific investigation and surgical treatment of cancer. Sponsor BASO Trainees Prize 400 BASO Trainees is an association for surgical trainees focused on promoting and broadening the base knowledge of cancer surgery amongst trainees and endorses increased interaction between various surgical oncology subgroups.
Each year, BASO presents award to the best surgical oncology presentation by a trainee at the Annual Conference. The sponsor s name will appear in the conference programme. The sponsor s name will appear on the Prize certificate. The sponsor s name will be acknowledged on the BASO Website (BASO Award Section) for sponsoring this award. How to book an exhibition space Make a provisional booking s will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. Please return your completed form to Rattandeep Jhita who will confirm your booking and stand allocation. Payment methods 1. By cheque: You can return your form along with a cheque for the correct full amount, made payable to the BASO Conference Account. A receipt will be sent out to acknowledge these payments. 2. By BACS: BACS payments can be made. Please contact Rattandeep Jhita to obtain the bank details. Receipted invoices will be sent out on receipt of the booking form. Please note that payment in full is due within a month of your booking form being received, but in any case by no later than Monday 1st October, 2018. Failure to pay for your stand in full ahead of the conference will render the booking void. Cancellations Requests for refunds due to cancellation will only be made in the event of the cancelled stand space being resold. Every effort will be made to re-sell this stand space. Set up and breakdown times Set up and breakdown times will be confirmed when the programme has been finalised and when it has been confirmed whether set up can be offered on the night before the conference.
All stands must be constructed and dressed by their final set up times prior to the opening of the exhibition and removed in their entirety by no later than 18.30pm on Sunday 4 th November, 2018. Vehicle access and parking tbc Additional Information Security A security system operates within the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow at all times when the exhibition is open but the organisers cannot be held responsible for any loss of equipment during the hours of the exhibition or overnight and appropriate insurance is advised. Disabled Facilities The College has lift access to the building. All ground floor facilities are then accessible. There is lift access to the other floors in the building. Also, there are disabled toilet and changing facilities in the building. Attendance at Conference Sessions Conference sessions are open to all exhibiting company representatives as part of the exhibition stand fee. Catering Catering will be served within the exhibition area for both delegates and exhibitors. Lunch will be served early on the day for exhibitors. Catering for up to one or two representatives, as per the trade package, is included in the stand fee.
