Dear Mr Fennell, I wish to declare the Government of Seychelles's support, as well my own personal support, for Victoria's bid for the 2010 Commonwealth Games. Seychelles are commited to sporting excellence, and has been a proud participant of sporting events. The Government of Seychelles has been a partner is hosting world sporting events, ensuring financial support and the delivery of government services. We will be proud to do the same for Victoria in 2018. We strongly support sport in the Commonwealth, as reflected by our participation in the Commonwealth Heads of Government Committee on Cooperation Through Sport, and by our contributions to sport in various Commonwealth countries. One of the most distinguishing characterictics of Seychelles society is its ethnic and linguistic diversity people working together and taking pride in their common citizenship. Nowhere is this diversity more apparent than in Victoria, where people from around the world have found at home, bringing with them cultures, ideas and values to share with the existing rich, multicultural mix. The Commonwealth family will feel warmly welcomed. The Government of Seychelles is fully aware of the important responsibilities and obligations that will accompany the privilege of acting as host country for the 2018 Games. Seychelles In Seychelles, there are 87 972 people (2009). There is a mix of people's skins, of culture, and religions. There are art, kitchen, music, dance and architecture (buildings in wood, with their sloping roofs). Traditional dances are sega, moutia, and kanmtole. The weather is tropical. In Seychelles, we can to move in car, train, bus, taxis, airplanes, boats. The flag was adopted the 18 june 1996. He combines colours of two main parties of the country, the simple Party of the people of Seychelles ( the union party of Seychelles's people) (red, white, green) and the democratic Party (blue, yellow). An other sumbolic interpretation is too used : the yellow symbolizes the sun, the source of life and light, the red the people, the white the justice and the harmony, the green the earth and the nature, and the blue the Indian Ocean and the sky. Seychelles's economy and finance is based on the tourism (main resort of Seychelles) : there is a lot of tourist. Seychelles live with the tourism. There are hotels, restaurants, isles, Valley Of May etc. We can do diving submarine, board-veil, canoe, nautical-skiig on the popular beatch. Localy dance and music's spectacles are regularly introduce in party. Some
hotels propose dinner-dancing and barbecues. Some pieces of theatre are interpret in creole, in french and in english. We find casino in Beauty Vallon's hotel and Plantation Club's hotel. Tourism is the main sector of Seychelles's economy. With the opening of the international airport, tourism became a serious industry basically dividing the economy into plantations and tourism. Tourism became the primary industry of Seychelles. In 2009, the two motor of Seychelles'economy ; the tourism and the fish exports. During the era plantations, cinnamon, vanilla and copra were the chief exports. There are exports of vanilla and coconut, coconut oil, tortoises shells, soap and the guono (from Victoria). Industrie is composed of a little minor sector, guano's extraction, and a little bit natural gas. His main comercial partner are the United-Kingdom, France, Saudi Arabia, Italy and Spane. Seychelles are a presidential republic since 13 April 2004 with the president James Alix Michel. In Seychelles, the biggest cities are Victoria, The Dyke, Mahé etc. Seychelles has win one silver medal. They have introduce 22 sportsman at Melboure in 2006 at the
Commonwealth Games. Seychelles detain a record, because they have won several times at the games. The Seychelles have about three medals, that they won at the Commonwealth Games. They have 2 silver medals and 1 bronze medal. Seychelles participated 7 on 16 games competitions. They did athletics, boxing, weightlifting, badminton, table tennis, swimming and cycling. Weightlifter, Janet Thelermont became the Seychelles' first medal winner in the Games. She won a bronze medal in the Women's 69kg class after lifting a weight of 205 kg.

Industries and services are the tourism, treatment of the coconut and the vanilla, fishing, constructions navale, paper, furnitures, drinks. Agriculture are commercial cultures, coconut, cinnamon and vanilla. Other produits are sweet potatoes, cassaves, bananas and poultry. Imports of food is an important tuna's fishing development.
