The following Officers have been elected for 2017: President Vice-President Treasurer Secretary Walt Dugan James Crall Steve Freed Bob Jones Congratulations to all our newly elected officers. Thank you to John Watters and Jim Crall for executing this task. Our annual Christmas Party will be held on Saturday, December 3rd at Moscatiello s Restaurant from 6 to 10 pm. This is your last chance to get in touch with Linda and sign up. Thank you to John and Linda Smith for setting this up for us again. Details are elsewhere in the newsletter. At our monthly meeting we started a new event for the club. Interested club members will be meeting twice a month at Harbor House for dinner starting in December. We will have a get together at 6pm, the second and fourth Thursdays of each month thru April. If you get the winter blues come out and join us. I am sure Joe will appreciate a little extra business from the Club. See Club Calendar for exact dates. Hope to see you at the Christmas Party Walt Directions to our Winter Location at Halfmoon Town Hall: The address is 2 Halfmoon Hall Plaza, Halfmoon, NY 12065 and the phone number is 518-371-7410. If you reach Hayner Road, you ve gone too far.

Adirondack Shelby-Mustang Regional Club Old Business Meeting held November 3, 2016 at Halfmoon Town Hall. Meeting called to order at 7:00pm. Walt asked the membership to accept the minutes from the October meeting. Phil Benner made a motion to accept the minutes and Bob Nass seconded the motion. Minutes were approved. There was no club mail. Steve Freed distributed the Treasurer s report to members present at the meeting. The beginning balance was $2,401.46 and the ending balance is $2,147.28. Steve reported that the rental for the trailer had increased and he would be sending an additional payment of $51. Phil Benner made a motion to accept the treasurer s report and it was seconded by Kathy Allen. The treasurer s report was accepted. 2017 Officers election Jim Crall presented the following nominations: Walt Dugan for president, Bob Jones for secretary, Jim Crall for vice president and Steve Freed for treasurer. Phil Benner made a motion that the slate of officers be presented for a vote. Jim Crall cast a single vote to elect the slate for the 2017 officers. Holiday Party The party will be on Saturday, December 3, from 6pm to 10pm at Moscatiello s. Reservations can be made by contacting Linda Smith at smithsports@aol.com or at 374-5149. There will be a grab bag gift exchange, gifts should be generic and in the $15 to $25 price range. Toys will be collected for the Jack Byrne toy drive. Please bring the toys unwrapped. New Business Linda volunteered to purchase toys for the Jack Byrne toy drive. It was agreed the budget for purchasing toys will be $200. Walt suggested that as a token of our appreciation for all that Ed Kepner does in moving the trailer when needed, that we waive the Christmas party fee for Ed and Penny. Everyone agreed to this. Walt advised that the Cohoes Car show is tentatively scheduled for May 21, the same day as the Jack Byrne show. Walt asked if club members would be interested in meeting twice a month at Harbor House for dinner. It was agreed that starting in December we will have a get together at 6pm, the second and fourth Thursdays of each month thru April. Steve advised that the club will again participate in the Make-A-Wish Adopt an Angel project this year. Angels will be sold at area malls to raise funds for Make-A-Wish. If you are able to volunteer for three or four hours, let Steve know and he will let you know the time and place. This is an important fund raiser for Make-A-Wish so Steve encouraged members to participate if they can. John Watters will work on a schedule for next year s Bi-monthly dinners. Club Clothing Anyone interested in purchasing club clothing should contact Wendy Brown. MCA Report Jeff reported there will be two national shows in 2017. One in late March in Pensacola, Florida and one in mid-may in Tucson, Arizona.. 50/50 winner of $18 was John Smith. The meeting was adjourned at 7:20pm. ASMC Secretary, Linda Smith
