Within two hours drive of Christchurch, you can ski, play golf, bungy jump, go whitewater rafting, mountain biking, whale watching, swim with dolphins, and visit world-class vineyards, gardens and galleries. DUNEDIN REGION This intriguing city was founded by the Free Church of Scotland in the 1840 s and is located under severe hills at the head of a long twisting harbour.
