Pack a lunch from Pittsburgh or stop for lunch in West Newton. 4 p.m. or later. Check into your B&B in Connellsville. 7 p.m. Enjoy dinner in town. Day 2. Connellsville-Meyersdale (59 miles) LODGING: Levi Deal Mansion 7-8 a.m. A full, hot breakfast will be provided by your hosts at the B&B. Lunch. Enjoy lunch along the trail in Ohiopyle or Confluence. 4 p.m. or later. Check into your room at the B&B. 7 p.m. Enjoy your included dinner this evening. Day 3. Meyersdale-Cumberland (32 miles) LODGING: Fairfield Inn and Suites. 7-9 a.m. A full, hot breakfast will be provided by your hosts at the B&B.
Lunch. Lunch will be provided to you in the morning for your ride. You can also stop for snacks in Frostburg and/or Cumberland. 4 p.m. or later. Check into your room at the Fairfield Inn and Suites. Dinner. Enjoy one of several restaurant options in town. Day 4. Cumberland-Little Orleans (43 miles) LODGING: Town Hill B&B 7-9 a.m. A hot breakfast is included in your stay at the hotel. Lunch. Lunch will be provided to you in the morning for your ride. There are no food options between Cumberland and Little Orleans, so be sure to add water and snacks to your lunch, as needed. 4 p.m. or later. Upon reaching Little Orleans/Fifteen Mile Creek Recreation Area stop in at Bill s Place for dinner. Evening. While at dinner call your B&B shuttle to arrange for pickup and the drive up to the lodging. Day 5. Little Orleans-Williamsport (42 miles) LODGING: Red Roof Inn 7-9 a.m. Enjoy a full, hot breakfast provided by your B&B. You can enjoy much of the day s ride on the paved Western Maryland Rail Trail; options to access the rail trail can be found at its start, in Hancock, and at Ft Frederick. Lunch. Stop for lunch in Hancock. 3 p.m. or later. Check into your rooms at the Red Roof Inn. The inn is located off the trail, in town, along a paved road. You may wish to eat dinner in the lower town before riding up to the rooms. (Directions and recommendations are provided with your trip materials.) Dinner. There are several options in town. Day 6. Williamsport-Harpers Ferry (41 miles) LODGING: Various 7-9 a.m. Enjoy your included breakfast at the Desert Rose Café, just before the trail entrance.

Take a picnic lunch from the Desert Rose Café OR stop for an hour or more (if your schedule permits) in the lovely college town of Shepherdstown where many dining and boutique shopping options abound. 4 p.m. or later. Check into your rooms in Harpers Ferry. Harpers Ferry is a National Historic Park and offers lots to see and learn. The park is open daily from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Dinner. There are many options in town. Day 7. Harpers Ferry-D.C. (60 miles) 7-8 a.m. Enjoy breakfast included in your lodging stay in Harpers Ferry. Lunch. Pack a lunch from Harpers Ferry OR stop for lunch in Brunswick (recommended). By 6 p.m. Congratulations! You ll finish your Great Allegheny Passage ride in the Georgetown neighborhood of Washington, D.C. You will return your rental bikes to the Bike And Roll location on the National Mall. West Newton-Ohiopyle (42 miles) LODGING: Yough Plaza Motel 8-9 a.m. Enjoy a hot breakfast at the Bright Morning B&B. Lunch. Stop for lunch in Connellsville. After 4 p.m. Check into your room in Ohiopyle. Dinner. Enjoy dinner at one of several restaurants in town. Day 3. Ohiopyle-Confluence (11 miles) LODGING: Confluence House B&B or similar 8-9 a.m. Enjoy one of our recommended breakfast spots in Ohiopyle. Morning. Meet your shuttle for your 5 minute ride to Fallingwater and enjoy the house tour. Your shuttle will return you to Ohiopyle. Lunch. Stay for lunch in Ohiopyle or buy a picnic for the trail.
