However this success story started with humble beginnings, nearly sixty years ago. When Abramo Galassi invented the first vent hood in a small workshop in Italy and showed a coitment towards technology, quality and design. Today, the Faber Group has grown from a local business to a global enterprise. And managed to transform kitchen essentials to artistic and functional appliances. THE GENESIS Abramo Galassi establishes Faber Plast Srl and turns plastic into objects for the house. The Swiss Franke Group becomes the main shareholder of Faber Spa, reinforcing their vision. Faber looks at the Asian markets and establishes Flaminia Nanjing in China and Faber Heatkraft in India. Faber gets taken over by the Franke Group and functions as a critical Business Unit. Faber takes over Futurum S.A. as well as Mepamsa. Faber burners also feature a perfectly controllable pure flame with a wide control range.
