CARAVAN MEMBERSHIP 290: includes the above membership package for two people and a reserved caravan parking space. Additional guest badges and four-day admission tickets can be purchased as above. Only one further vehicle may be parked in the caravan park for which a caravan car park pass must be purchased in advance only at 52 (maximum one per membership). The caravan park is exclusively for Burghley Horse Trials Members and their guests and is open Tuesday 1 September Sunday 6 September. The park is for caravans and attached awnings only as space is limited. Horseboxes or tents are not permitted. Motorised homes may be accommodated by prior arrangement only. Generators will be accommodated in Block C and part of Block A only and must be notified at time of booking. Caravans arriving with generators and not booked in will be relocated immediately on arrival. DAILY CAR PARKING AND ADMISSION TICKETS are available in advance and at the gate. TRAVEL INFORMATION Burghley Park lies just off the A1, twelve miles north of Peterborough and a mile from the Georgian town of Stamford. CAR: the Event is clearly sign-posted. The postcode PE9 3JY will direct your satnav towards Burghley House. Once you see the temporary yellow signs, please follow these and turn off your satnav. To avoid delays on Saturday, you are strongly advised to arrive early. TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT: outside of Burghley Park is within the authority of the Police. To avoid delays on Saturday you are strongly advised to arrive early. DISABLED VISITORS: access to the Disabled Car Park is on a first come, first served basis. Visitors are advised to arrive early, particularly on Saturday and to access via gate 4, Station Gate (visit www.burghley-horse.co.uk). Visitors with impaired mobility and those collecting an Event Mobility scooter are advised to enter the park through Gate 4 (Station Gate) and make use of the Disabled Car Park. Access to the Disabled Car Park is on a first come, first served basis and visitors are advised to arrive early, particularly on Saturday. Disabled visitors require the appropriate admission ticket and one accompanying carer will be admitted free of charge. There will be a limited number of spaces in the Main Arena, North Stand, Block E available to purchase for our visitors with wheelchairs. These bookings will be taken via our Box Office enquiry line: 01933 304744. Subject to availability, electric scooters/manual wheelchairs can be hired for visitors with impaired mobility. Disabled access toilets are situated around the showground and cross country course. In order to preserve these facilities for the use of our disabled visitors, where possible, the toilets are accessible with a radar key as part of the National Key Scheme. DOGS Dogs accompanying visitors at Burghley must be kept under control and on a short lead at all times (extending leads are not permitted). Particular care is essential in busy and food serving areas to minimise inconvenience to other visitors and our exhibitors, and in the vicinity of the Cross Country fences. Please clean up after your dog - bags are available around the showground. There are no special parking concessions for vehicles containing dogs and if distressed, they will be removed from vehicles by the RSPCA/Police. Assistance Dogs only are permitted in the grandstands and Members Enclosure. We strongly recommend that visitors with dogs use the dog crèche NEWLY sited adjacent to the Exhibition Village. FOOD AND DRINK Bar and catering facilities to suit all tastes are available around the showground. GETTING AROUND THE SHOWGROUND The terrain in the Park may not be suitable for visitors with certain medical conditions. We advise you to wear practical footwear and to be aware that it could be difficult to move around freely and easily. GRANDSTAND TICKETS Grandstand tickets sell out quickly, particularly for Sunday. We recommend these are purchased in advance of the Event. Headset seats are available for detailed commentary in the Main Arena. MERCHANDISE Official merchandise is available from Burghley - The Collection by Joules on the junction of Avenues A and B. PROGRAMMES Available at the first horse inspection on Wednesday and from Thursday morning of the Event around the showground at a cost of 5. SHOPS Shops open daily Thursday to Saturday, 9.00 am 5.30 pm, Sunday,. The Shoppers Drops (behind the East Grandstand and at the bottom of Avenue B) are available for storing shopping throughout the day. SPECIALISED HEADSET COMMENTARY Grandstand tickets to include specialised commentary via individual headset may also be purchased: DRESSAGE (THURSDAY/FRIDAY): All-day tickets can be purchased, in advance, for Blocks F/G at 22.00. Tickets for morning/afternoon sessions in Block G on Thursday/Friday at 12.50 per session are subject to availability and may only be purchased from the Box Office at the Event. CROSS COUNTRY (SATURDAY): All-day tickets can be purchased, in advance, for Block G at 9.50 each. SHOW JUMPING (SUNDAY): All-day tickets can be purchased, in advance, for Blocks F/G at 27.00 each. CANCELLATION OR ABANDONMENT OF THE EVENT No refunds will be made on the day. In the event of cancellation or abandonment of the Event, money paid in respect of advance bookings or a logical proportion thereof, will be refunded on the return to the Box Office of tickets/passes which could not be used because of cancellation or abandonment. Refunds will only be made in respect of any day that is wholly abandoned before the start of that day s competition. In respect of items covering the whole event (membership, caravan membership, season tickets etc) the following proportions will be refunded: cancelled before Thursday starts 100%; before Friday 85%; before Saturday 60%; before Sunday 15%. Please send badges/tickets and car park pass stating full name and address of sender and, if different from that of sender the full name and address of the purchaser to: The Box Office, Burghley Horse Trials, Sanders Road, Wellingborough, Northants. NN8 4BX. To be valid, requests for refunds must be received at the Box Office in writing no later than 2 October 2015.
