OUR COMPANY CATC has a long history in training airline pilots and other personnel dating back to the very beginning of the aviation industry. These activities were originally provided within Czechoslovak Airlines (since 1995 Czech Airlines) and then by its subsidiary named Czech Airlines Training Centre. In 2012, this subsidiary was acquired by the Air Navigation Services of the Czech Republic and was renamed Czech Aviation Training Centre. CATC continues in the aviation training tradition that Czech Airlines started almost a hundred years ago, and confirms its Central European leadership in this field. Czech Aviation Training Centre carries out airline transport professionals training from the beginning to acquiring and continually maintaining the respective qualification. At the same time, CATC is active in finding suitable placements for its successful course graduates. As well as focussing on European countries, CATC has created its subsidiary in India (CATC India), set up in partnership with Aerostar Training Services (Florida, USA) and has more attractive plans to realize in the future. 2017 IN FIGURES 22 959 hours flown in our simulators 150 type rating graduates 247 enthusiastic instructors
ATO (APPROVED TRAINING ORGANIZATION) CERTIFICATES Czech Aviation Training Centre is recognized by key national and international authorities including International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO) and International Air Transport Association (IATA), holding a variety of certificates which are continuously monitored, renewed and updated in accordance with current aviation industry regulations and quality standards. CATC standard requirements and assumptions for candidates to be admitted to CATC screening for - Level 1 and Level 2 course LEVEL 1 Minimum age 17+ years At least intermediate knowledge of English (we will verify knowledge at CATC, so candidates do not need to document the language test certificate) Pleasant appearance and excellent performance Unacceptable: visible piercing (except for earrings) and visible tattoos LEVEL 2 Minimum age 18+ years Knowledge of English at B2 level under the common european framework of reference for languages. Verification of English knowledge: written test and oral examination (about 2 hours in total) Pleasant appearance and excellent performance Health status certified by the Institute of Aviation Health or a licensed aviation physician Tattoo and piercing control will be done on visible parts of the body (women s clothing: skirt length to the knees and short sleeves, men: trousers and short sleeves) Documentary evidence Joint Certification The students will be given a Certificate which will have the following authorization on it: CATC University NSDC AASSC Ministry of Skill Development
