CAMP M CURRICULIM Our group-based, intentional programming fosters the individual potential of each child. Campers can look forward to a fun and exciting variety of themes and specialty units, as well as child directed activity opportunities. Don't forget, Camp M programs are famous for being on the go and out and about, making use of all that our community has to offer. TWO FIELD TRIPS WEEKLY! We boast the best field trips.period! The trips are about great destinations. Each trip is programmed and planned by staff to make the most of the experience. AQUA AND ADVENTURE TRIP DAYS Every summer camp has swimming field trips, but ours are something far more special. The trips include Cool Waters and a variety of other swimming destinations (weather permitting of course). The day also includes some of Camp M s world famous fun and adventurous activities like: Treasure Quest, Photo Scavenger Hunts, Fishing, Follow Trails, Geocaching, Water Frolics, Pizza Lunch Days, All Camp Sing Alongs, Nature Hikes and so much more! No two trips are the same! Aqua and Adventure Trip Days are another perfect example of why Camp M is the best. A regular swim day is fun, but at Camp M... it is something extraordinary! QUALITY STAFF Camp M staff are adults with extensive training, education and experience. Some Camp M staff have been with us over twenty years! All Camp M staff are committed to Milestones, the Camp M program, and most of all, the children and families we serve. The quality of our staff is what brings families back year after year. EXCELLENT STAFF/CHILD RATIOS Our average staff to child ratio is 1 to 8 and on field trips it averages1 to 5. These ratios translate to more activity choices and more individualized attention for your child. It also means a safer experience and environment for your child. Camp M averages a one to five Staff /Child Ratio on Field Trips. Campers are always safely transported in a school or coach bus. Special Field Trips: Extra fees are applied to the following trips: Mt. Olympus $38.00 Noah s Ark $42.00 Campout $42.00 Brewers Game $17.00 Bay Beach $12.00 Inclement Weather Field Trip Backups: Unpredictable weather can indeed effect some of our outdoor oriented field trips. Here are possible alternate trips we may use in case of inclement weather. Public Museum Discovery Center Movie Bowling Take Note: Field trips could be adjusted with little notice to ensure both the safety of the children and a fun and exciting day! ALL INFORMATION IS SUBJECT TO CHANGE
IMPORTANT DATES AND INFO REGARDING CAMP M: May 14 LAST DAY TO DROP ANY DAYS OR WEEKS IN CAMP M Adding days and weeks is allowed with one week s notice as long as space permits. May 14, 2018 is the last day for any cancellations. Failure to do so will result in the liability of all fees owed. June 11 First Day of Camp M July 4 Camp M is closed for Independence Day Aug 24 Last Day of Camp M KEEP IN MIND: School year programs start on the first day of school. Be sure to check your child s school start date and plan accordingly. CAMP M ADDITIONAL FIELD TRIP INFORMATION All children who are registered on the day a field trip occurs are expected to participate with the group. No alternative care is provided, no refunds are given. Children are required to ride the bus with their group both to and from the trip. Dropping off or picking up from a field trip is not allowed. Special Field Trip Fees-Extra Fees are applied to the following trips: Mt. Schedule adds can be made throughout the summer, however May 14, 2018 is deadline for all cancellations. CAMP M PARENT HANDBOOK Will be emailed to families before the start of the summer.
