We would appreciate that! Pat Liddy s Walking Tour in German Brilliant tour with our guide Sam. We are from Austria but had to meet an Irish person to hear Viennese songs! His feel for languages and knowledge of Dublin was excellent! It was a pleasure meeting him. Good introduction into the history of Dublin We were a group of six, three Dubliners, two French, and one English. I would consider myself fairly knowledgeable about my city and country, but our guide, Mairead, contributed substantially to my existing store of knowledge!! She was enthusiastic, had lots of interesting anecdotes, and was well up for a bit of banter. We all felt that it was a very worthwhile venture, and I would happily undertake further walks with this group. I would recommend this Pat Liddy tour to both visitors and locals. Fact filled Fun Tour REVIEWED APRIL 2018 REVIEWED MARCH 2018 REVIEWED MARCH 2018 We really enjoyed this tour. Pauline was outstanding mixing facts and anecdotes with plenty of humour along the way. It was a good 2.5 hours but didn t feel that long covering a lot of ground in a nice relaxed way. Would totally recommend this tour to anyone who wants to see the real Dublin.
Ireland s real national beverage, whiskey, invented by Irish monks in the early Middle Ages, is celebrating a wonderful revival. This brand-new tour will take you through the Liberties, one of the most historic but increasingly vibrant parts of the city. This district of medieval monasteries, former Dutch and Huguenot houses and their industries evolved to become the brewing and distilling centre of Ireland. Teelings Whiskey and the Guinness Brewery will try to tempt you in, but our journey will end in one of the most unusual distilleries imaginable - Pearse Lyons Distillery. Located in a converted church with its own historic graveyard, enjoy the hospitality, intriguing tales, and a special tasting of their signature whiskeys. Of course, you can then tempt your taste buds elsewhere in the neighbouring quarter you earlier walked through known as the Golden Whiskey Triangle!
