FRIDAY 3 MAY 2019 Arrive into Edinburgh and transfer to your accommodation at Gartmore House in the Trossachs National Park. Gartmore House, set in the beautiful Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park, is the ideal place to enjoy an Activity Holiday. After lunch at Gartmore House, board you coach to Stirling Castle - site of great battles and known as the "Key to Scotland. Stirling Castle, located in Stirling, is one of the largest and most important castles in Scotland, both historically and architecturally. The castle sits atop Castle Hill, an intrusive crag, which forms part of the Stirling Sill geological formation. Transfer back to Gartmore House for dinner.

Explore the land of Braveheart's William Wallace and Discovering "Scotland in Miniature" at the Trossachs Driving through the beautiful landscape of Loch Lomond National Park and enjoy a nature trail walk beside Loch Lomond. Discover Scottish history in Rob Roy country and viewing the Kelpies: the largest pair of horse sculptures in the world
SUNDAY 5 MAY After breakfast, enjoy your Mini Highland Games Experience at Gartmore House which can include: Haggis hurling Tug-o-war Toss the Caber Fling the Wellie Weight for distance Putting the shot Scot s Hammer Sack races Bagpiping Highland Dancing The Highland Games are as iconically Scottish as bagpipes, kilts and whisky. The Games are also noted for their unique sporting and athletic events many of which involve throwing and lifting. These include the shot put, tug-o-war, caber toss and hammer throw - collectively known as heavy events. Dinner at Gartmore House.
MONDAY 6 MAY Today you will take a trip to: Glencoe Loch Ness Ben Nevis Urquhart Castle Loch Ness is Scotland's (if not the world's) most famous lake (or 'loch' in Scotland). It runs for 23 miles (37 km) along the natural geological cleft that stretches from Fort William in the west of the Scottish Highlands, to Inverness in the north. A mile wide at most places it is the purported home of the Loch Ness monster, a possibly mythical creature, which dwells in the Loch and is occasionally spotted by locals and passers-by. TUESDAY 7 MAY After breakfast, transfer to the Holiday Inn Express Edinburgh. Enjoy a 1/2 day City Tour with highlights including: The Grassmarket National Museum of Scotland Old Town Palace of Holyroodhouse Calton Hill Edinburgh Castle The castle was home to kings and queens. Queen Margaret (later St Margaret) died here in 1093, and Mary Queen of Scots, gave birth to James VI in the royal palace in 1566. The castle is now a world-famous visitor attraction and a key element of the Edinburgh World Heritage Site. Enjoy free time for shopping and exploring Edinburgh s Old Town and then a final night dinner at the Hard Rock Café. WEDNESDAY 8 MAY Transfer to Edinburgh Airport for your return flight home.
